Forest trip

     Me and Marky had been friends for the whole half of the school year and I wanted to go on an adventure. I haven't been in the forest for awhile, I'll go there!
"Markimoo, I have a question." I sang sliding around the corner by my locker and nearly smashing my face into his chest. I had had a MAJOR growth spirt but he still grew taller than me.
"What is it?" Mark said laughing and stepping away.
"Can we go in the forest sometime? Together? I have this really cool tree I want to climb with you!" I quickly chanted.
"Uhh... when?" Mark said half sadly. My face dropped.
"This weekend, what's wrong?" I asked dully.
"Oh nothing. I think I can go. I'll have to ask." Mark said zoned out.
"Mark." I shook his shoulder.
"MARK!" I was pulling and pushing him back and forth by his shoulders. No response.
"Mark Edward Fischbach!!! Wake up!!!" I screamed in his ear. He finally snapped out of it.
"How do you know my full name?" He doubtfully asked.
"Saw it on your homework sheet." I replied with ease. All the sudden an big  smile took over Mark's face. He suddenly spoke:
"Lets go tonight! Why not? It's a Thursday, close enough." Mark encouraged.
"Ok. Why may I ask?" I interrogated.
"No reason."

The whole hike up there Mark stared at my face. Maybe expecting some reaction of some sort. I looked over at him and he looked away. Weird... ehh, that's Mark! I thought. We made it into a somewhat clear area and started to pitch the tent. By the time dark struck we had the tent put up and a fire built. I laid by the fire looking at Mark.
"Truth or dare?" I said challengingly.
"Really? Uhh... dare?" Mark rolled his eyes at my question.
"Hmmm... I dare you to tell me why where you staring at me earlier?" I asked, completely confused. Mark flushed bright red.
"I wanted to see if you where breaking a sweat! Nothing more nothing less!!!" He yelled.
"Woah! Take it easy it was just a question." I soothed. The truth or dare went on for a while until one question turned Mark pale.
