Chapter 8

Yoongi was working in the shop. It was relatively slow and quiet. No one was in at the time since its still early and many people were working or in school. Yoongi decided to do his own thing and change the bubbly music playing to something more his style.

He went to the speaker and plugged his phone into it. After a while of deciding what to listen to he settled with Just do it by Gray ft Loco. He liked the message it gave and the rhythm to it. It was his type of laid back music. Although he loved his job he wanted to be a rapper. He would write lyrics and make mix tapes all the time. It was his passion. He always wanted to share his work with others but he never had the courage to do it. So he settled with signing off a few of his songs.

But it doesn’t last long and I become anxious and serious

As he sang along to the words he felt happy. Rapping made him happy. At that moment the only person able to hear him was Jin who was preparing a few more pastries. He loved when Yoongi rapped, he loved Yoongi in general, almost in a motherly way. He always thought it was like that. But he was mistaken. He found that he really loved Yoongi. He wanted him all to himself but he knew that he had to work to get attention from the other.

Half way through the song the door bell rang. He looked toward the door tense but was relieved to only see a cute bunny smile. It was Jungkook.

"Woah Hyung! That was amazing!"

"... Thank you kookie.." He said lowely as he looked towards the floor embarrassed.

"Hyung you should rap one of your original song! I would really like to hear it!"

"Yah! Go help Jin Hyung in the back and don't be a bother to Hyung!" He exclaimed surprised by the youngers request.

"Fine.." Jungkook said pouting as he went to the back room to help Jin.

As Yoongi went back to the speaker and put on something more suitable for the store. He chose Let's Walk Together by TOUCH. As he walked back to the counter composing himself he, once again, heard the door ring. He looked up and smiled. He decided not to look that who it was. But saw it was a group of young college students. They all seem tired and hungry. They walked to the counter immediately looking at the wonderful display of the treats.

"Would I like to interest any of you in our cakes?" Yoongi asked

"Yes please.. Um chocolate flavor please" said the boy.

Yoongi went and grabbed the cake putting it into a box and ringing it up. He looked up at the customer to tell him the cost.

"Its ... uh... Its $7.50 please." Yoongi said as he looked down refusing to look at the customer any more. He felt the others eyes on him. He handed him the money and left.

As soon as they were out of sight Yoongi held onto his heart hearing the loud thumps caused by the mysterious boy.
