'Today was the last day I had to spend in the hell hole.' I think to myself as I shut the front door to the orphanage for the last time.
Austin is on a plane down to Florida now. His flight is supposed to arrive in about an hour, so we're on our way to the airport now.
Austin has a rental car waiting because we were going to say goodbye to some of my friends.
"Are we there yet?" I ask excitedly for what had to have been the thousandth time.
"Almost." Sister Mary replies.
"How much longer?"
"Less than five minutes."
"OH THANK GOD". I say rather loudly. Sister Mary let out a small giggle and continued driving.
I pressed play on my phone, which was hooked up to the car to play music, and Fast Times At Clairemont High by Pierce The Veil played.
I smiled and sung the lyrics as the song played. We arrived at the airport and as soon as we found a parking space I flew out of the car.
I grabbed my bag out of the back seat and stuffed my phone in my back pocket. I only have one bag because all of my other stuff is already at Austin's house in California. We made our way into the airport and over to where he would be coming in. Gate 9.
I sat paitently in one of the many chairs until I saw him coming out of his gate.
Excitedly, I tossed my phone in the bag next to my seat and ran over to him. I jumped into his arms and he laughed and spun me around. He set me down and I smiled widely at him.
"I missed you little Carlile."
"I missed you too."
"Okay. I didn't bring anything but my carry on, so we can just go straight to the car."
"Mkay, let me just grab my bag first." I say running over to my little book bag. I pick it up and we begin to leave the airport.
Austin stopped to take a few pictures for some fans who had happened to be walking through the airport.
He took some with them on his phone too and posted them on Instagram. A few of the fans asked to take a picture with me too.
It made me happy to know I was accepted into the OM&M family.
After that, we made our way out, and found the rental car. I sat in the front seat next to Austin and he quickly pulled out his phone and took a picture of us.
"I'm posting so much on Instagram today that it's not even funny." I cracked a smile and looked forward.
A frown grew on my face as I realized that this was going to be the last time I was going to see any of my friends for a while. I sigh and rest my head on the window.
"What's wrong?"
"This is gonna be the last time I'm gonna see these people for a while" I pause
"and what about Jacob? He's just gonna leave me for someone he can see all the time. I don't want to loose him."
"I'll make sure you can see your friends as much as possible. And if he's gonna leave you over a little distance, then he doesn't deserve someone like you." He reassured me.
"Thanks dad." His eyes lit up when I called him dad. I smiled.
"So this is the plan. We go get Jacob, say goodbye to your friends, and then we go to the mall so you can spend some time with your boyfriend before you go.. Does that sound good?" Austin asked.
"It sounds like a plan." I smile
"Okay then, les go." Austin says and I hit play on my music as we drive off.
