Dreams come true too soon

Chapter 11

Destiny's POV

we finally parked infront of Alex's house and said goodbye to the boys, we walked out half awake as we stumbled and nearly fell. Alex pulled her keys out and opened the door. Her parents were asleep so we crept into her room and closed the door.

After stumbling through the mess of blankets we finally landed on the bed and groaned "ugh!! Stupid soccer game" Alex groaned I gave a light chuckle and then heard soft snoring. And with Alex's snoring I fella sleep.

I was woken up by the sound of heels walking on the floor. But knowing Alex who would never wear heels to save her life, they were most likely cleats. I opened one eye to see her in her soccer uniform with her hair in a high ponytail with a thin blue nike headband to keep her bangs out of her face.

She noticed me and walked over to me as she flung the blanket across the room. I shivered as she laughed and said "come on sleeping beauty they are going to pick us up in 30." I kicked her thigh and groaned "do I have to?"

"Yes you have to unless you want me to tell your boyfreind you don't want to see him? Harsh much?" She said while folding the blanket I groaned again and got up to stretch. I walked to the bathroom and got ready, i was barely putting on my pants when I could hear the front door being harshly knocked. My eyes widened as I realized they were already here. I tried to change as fast as I could, my stuff was all over the place I could barely walk out. As I hurriedly tried to pick up, I slipped and dropped a lot of bottles making a huge noise. I froze in my tracks trying not to make a sound.

"What was that?" I heard Harry say.

" I don't know Destiny probably being her clumsy self" Alex said with a laugh I rolled my eyes can she ever not be annoying but that's probably the reason I love her because she keeps me full of energy. I couldn't be in there forever so I walked out slowly trying to make no noise. I peeked through the hall and saw them sitting on the couch talking. No one saw me until I stepped on a tile that creaked Alex's eyes darting to me. She smiled as she got up and ran over to me.

"Let's go slow poke we're going to be late!" She said as she helped me get my stuff.

"Shall we go now?" Asked Liam.

"Please!" I screamed back. As I ran out of the room I pushed her making her drop my stuff.

"Hey! I made a mess with your stuff! Come pick this up!" She demanded putting her arms on her hips and standing sassily.

I was already in Niall's arms when she said it. "Just kick it out of the way, I'll pick up later." I said. Realizing what a slob I sounded like, I tried to save myself, " Just so you guys know I'm not a slob, I'm actually really clean."

Alex walked in and ruined the whole thing,"yup super clean" she said sarcastically. 

We headed toward the car.

"Go! Move!" I said as I shoved at Alex who was going as she said her normal pace which was more like 1 mph. After what seemed like forever she jumped off and slung her nike bag over her shoulders. She walked off with Louis and Liam laughing she then turned back to me and smirked. Yes we are cousins. But we're not perfect we do get at each other's throats and make each other frustrated. It's annoying at the moment but then we always look back and laugh.

I stopped and looked back as I extended my hand for Niall to take. I felt his warm hand grasp mine and squeeze it as he looked down at me and smiled. I smiled back as we walked to the sideline of the field. Once we reached our spot we opened up the chairs and umbrellas and got comfortable.
