You: *You jump away to safety* For someone who doesn't know how to fight, she's really good.

It's been about thirty minutes now since you and Mako started fighting and so far, nothing's changed yet. The two of you are equally matched and you haven't landed a single hit on each other yet either. This is an intense fight, probably the most intense fight this school has ever seen since Ryuko fought Satsuki.

Mako tries to down thrust and left swing you with her baseball bat, but you managed to dodge them and kick her away afterwards. As much as you didn't want to hurt your love interest, you had no other choice since she won't listen to you or Ryuko. After recovering from your attack, Mako then aimed her baseball bat at you and sends a rocket right at you.

In normal cases, one would try to avoid making contact with a rocket, but you on the other hand did not do this. Instead, you just stood your ground and wait for the rocket to come at you.

Ryuko: (M/N)!! GET OUT OF THE WAY!!

Senketsu: Relax Ryuko. *He gets Ryuko's attention* He'll be fine.

Ryuko: *Confused expression appears on her face* Huh? What makes you say that?

You: You're about to find out Ryuko.

Then, just before the rocket made impact on you, you summon a hard light shield in front of you and the shield took the rocket's immense destruction like a champ. After that, you turned off the shield and head straight for Mako in hopes of ending this fight sooner than later.

Punch after punch, kick after kick, you gave it your all to ensure victory was yours. Mako did dodge some of your attacks, but that wasn't enough to dodge all of your moves. Then, after punching her in the stomach, you grab the collar of her Goku Uniform and throw Mako to the right side of the coliseum.

*Mako recovers and slowly gets back on her feet as you walk towards her*

Mako(In thoughts): T-This isn't good!! If I don't beat (M/n), my family and I will go back to the Slums.

You: Give up, Mako. You can't keep this up forever.

Mako: *Takes her battle position* I will if it'll mean my family will stay happy.

You: *You groan at this* WHEN WILL YOU COME TO YOUR SENSES!?

Mako: I SHOULD BE ASKING YOU THE SAME THING!!
