After the War. A Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus fic.

It was a bright sunny day at Camp Half Blood, courtesy of Apollo, and the war with Gaia was over. Travis Stoll sat and thought about the war. They had lost some brave brave souls; Annabeth, Frank, and Nico just to name a few. They were all heroes and they would never be forgotten. Percy was in a fresh state of depression because of Annabeth's death and had stepped down from praetor position. He didn't even come out of his cabin even if begged to until finally Poseidon had to come out to camp and force coax. He emerged looking like a complete wreck, bags under his eyes, hair in more of a mess than usual. He emerged then shortly after, retreated back into his cabin. He was doing better lately but he always looked like he was about to burst into tears and just collapse onto the ground. He was always muttering about not being able to save Annabeth and he blamed himself solely for everything. Travis felt bad for the poor guy. He had lost everything, Annabeth, his one and only true love, his little brother Nico, and his best friend Frank.

Speaking of Frank and Nico, Hazel had also gone into a deep depression and she and Percy were always with each other. Perhaps they supported each other or perhaps they planned their suicides all the time. Who knew? Travis actually thought that they might be better off dead than alive, they had nothing to live for anymore anyways. Piper, Leo and Jason never seemed happy and they always blamed themselves for their friends' deaths. Leo lost his joking ability and he never smiled, not even to his girlfriend Calypso. Maybe he smiled with her in private, but never in public.

Piper was always trying to comfort Percy and Hazel because they were basically like siblings to her. She sometimes burst out sobbing randomly. Jason was always there to comfort her but there wasn't much he could do. Jason was the strongest of the bunch, but any stranger could tell he was grieving. He blamed himself so much for everything. The remainder of the great and powerful Seven were broken, broken forever.
