Sophie and the Solar Surfer

Morph giggled to himself as he flew around the hall of the Benbow Inn, the beginnings of sunlight creeping through the blinds signalling a new morning. He went to the familiar door and slipped underneath it immediately heading towards the only bed that occupied the room. Jim Hawkins' was snoring quietly as he lay on his back, one arm covering his face from the peeking sunlight, Morph giggled again before he launched his attack of kisses forcing Jim to sit up and try and fight him off laughing as well. "Morph!" He called as the blob of mischief ceased his attack nuzzling into Jim's neck, "Morning to you too." Jim yawned stretching his arms with Morph copying him, he chuckled and got out of his bed and went through his daily routine.

"Is Sophie not awake yet?" Sarah asked as Jim trudged down the stairs, he blinked then shrugged, "I'm not allowed in her room so how should I know?" He replied, tiredness in his voice but he still smirked. "Jim." Sarah quipped with a scowl , he huffed a little but turned around on the stairs, "I'll go check." Sarah shook her head with a slight roll of her eyes, she didn't know how many times she had explained the rule to Jim - she was content with the pair being in each other's rooms but not at bedtime.

Jim knocked Sophie's door, having no reply he twisted the doorknob and allowed himself in. He could hear her softly breathing and on approach to her bed he could see several opened books on the floor and on her bed, she had been studying again. His eyes softened when he saw her form curled up with a blanket to keep her warm, her messy blonde hair fanning out in every direction, it made him smile a little. Taking a few moments, Jim moved her books laying them on the floor before sitting on the edge of her bed watching her sleep. "Sophie." He softly called, moving strands of hair from her peaceful face, she didn't stir for a few moments so he tried again lightly smiling when her eyes opened. "Good morning." He murmured kissing her forehead, her pink lips creased into a tired smile before a yawn escaped her mouth, she sat up as he chuckled running his fingers through her curly hair. "Wow, what time is it?" Sophie asked as she stretched her arms over head, Jim's blue eyes shifted to the clock then back to her, "It's half past eight." He replied, his eyes amused raising his eyebrows in anticipation of an answer. Sophie felt her stomach drop, she had slept in! She was meant to be up an hour ago so she could study, the colour drained from her face to a point where she felt dizzy and nauseous.

Jim frowned at her reaction, she had stayed up too late again, he hated it when she was getting ready for a mission as she devoted nearly all of her time to preparing and studying book after book. "You and I are spending the day together." Jim spoke as Sophie opened her mouth to panic, "Jim! I can't!" She protested with a loud gasp, he shook his head with a light smirk and tapped her nose with his index finger, "Yes, you can." Sophie glowered a little at Jim hating how he could win arguments especially with that damn stupid smirk on his face. "Fine, but only because you're annoying." Jim smiled in triumph, slowly creeping his hand underneath Sophie's blanket and hovering over her foot, she didn't notice this due to the innocent look on his face, "I have no idea what you're talking about..." He spoke thoughtfully as his hand suddenly grabbed her foot and began to tickle her, Sophie shrieked in response and whacked at his back to get him to stop - but it was completely futile as he only laughed and grabbed her other foot.

"Aloha Jimmy!" B.E.N announced loudly as he threw open the door, shrinking back when he saw the position the two teenagers were in. Jim was half sitting on his knees between Sophie's legs with his hands on her waist while her hands were on his chest, both red in the face. "Oh! I-I'll come back later." B.E.N awkwardly drew out as he slowly shut the door behind him, Jim's eyes fell back to Sophie admiring how beautiful she looked with her flushed face and dark blue eyes that seemed to pop in contrast to her slightly tanned skin, "Jim?" Sophie asked quietly, her voice a small squeak. He snapped back into reality, shaking his head as he climbed off her and ran a hand through his bangs as she sat up again, sighing loudly. "So, what are we going to do today?" She asked, feeling peeved when he shrugged with the same stupid smirk on his face, "Well you can't expect me to sit around doing nothing all day?" Jim merely shrugged again making Sophie groan in annoyance and get out of bed quickly, he reacted just as fast grabbing her hand then waist pushing her gently into the wall, "Oh, what now?" She groaned trying to push him off a little, Jim smirked widely as he dipped his head to her ear and whispered something that made her face scarlet before she shoved him off her as he chuckled, expertly dodging her hits to his arms as she hissed, "That is so rude!"
