Amelia was on a mission, and if someone got in her path then hell mend them. There was a tense atmosphere on the ship as it slowly came to a halt beside Gita, everyone quietly held their breath as the Captain expertly scaled the mast to affirm there was no danger – her ears perked upwards like a sentry on duty, no one dared to speak a word. Jim was eager to disembark the ship but patiently waited for Amelia's approval first, though he kept stealing quick glances towards the planet. Sophie had been here, he could just feel it. His fingers tightened around the hilt of the pistol he had been issued with at the Academy, he wasn't leaving Gita without Sophie – more of that Sophie would be leaving Gita, no matter what became of him.
There were only a handful of pirates left with Sophie, Scroop and Long Ben, she could only imagine and secretly hope that something had happened to them. All were rather fed up of walking for miles and even more irritated by the lack of treasure in their hands, some had taken it upon themselves to deliver threat after threat towards her, eventually she learned to ignore it knowing she would be safe until there was treasure found. "Shut yer traps, or I'll skin the lot of ya!" Long Ben roared, brandishing his sword suddenly, the fright made Sophie fall backwards, with it only being acknowledged by Scroop's menacing and cruel laughter. Gritting her teeth, Sophie clambered back onto her good foot, using a dark, crumbling pillar for support – enough was enough. She refused to be pushed around any longer, especially by Scroop and so-called family – not fighting back meant a great insult to Amelia who had always taught her to be strong. She patted her pocket gently, knowing Morph had taken refuge in there, with a tiny smile upon her lips, she wasn't alone. She had to think of a way to escape, the last thing that she wanted to do was harm anyone but after what they had done to her friends, she was re-considering her morals. "Get a move on." Long Ben ordered with a growl, slightly prodding her back with his sword, she stumbled before recovering and limping forwards, amused at the new pace began to laugh with the crew, Scroop watched suspiciously. "I didn't mean so quickly!" Long Ben chortled, his hand flying to his forehead as he laughed. Sophie didn't dare look back, if she did then they might work out her plan, ignoring the pain in her ankle she moved as quickly as she could, her bottom lip bloodied from biting on it as hard.
Scroop was feeling extremely irritated at Long Ben, his eyes narrowing at the pirate – as ruthless and cut-throat as he was, the man was an imbecile, immature even. Just like Silver, the name darkened Scroop's mood even more, a dark shadow falling over his eyes as he sneered at Long Ben – he was being mocked once again, no one was taking him seriously. His attention was diverted by Sophie, she was heading towards a thin line of trees, some of which were on a slope. Without warning Long Ben, Scroop leapt into action with his enraged growl alerting Sophie, she turned her head with wide eyes.
"Hey Jimmy!" B.E.N called as he approached Jim who was wandering the ground near the ship, said teenager sighed to himself wishing that B.E.N would stop calling him that. "You ever get like a bad feeling, like... something is going to happen?" The robot continued disregarding Jim's annoyance at him, "I would say gas but ye know, I don't get that..." Jim rolled his eyes and shook his head, blocking B.E.N out as he spotted disturbance in the dirt, crouching down to it he peered at it without touching it, what was it? Hovering his finger over the ashy dirt, he followed the gentle indents, his blue eyes set in concentration as he mentally spelled out the two letters, 'SP' and 'JH'. "Mr Hawkins, have you found something?" Amelia called, seeing the delay in the normally impatient cadet. Forgetting himself, Jim hummed with a nod which prompted Amelia to march over with angered grace, how she hated to be ignored or answered with such negligence to higher ranks. "Mr Hawkins." Amelia spoke sternly, nostalgic of their first meeting on the RLS Legacy. "She's been here." Jim spoke, swallowing the lump that was forming in his throat – the idea that she had traced their initials as a goodbye made Jim's heart drop so much that he squeezed his eyes tightly shut to block out that very thought. "Up and ready, Hawkins." Amelia ordered with Jim compiling, but his eyes drifted longingly to the letters, he was so close.
