Chapter 1:Shala School of High Magic
I woke up to the sound of the blazing bugles that my fellow angels were playing, and my little Shiba Inu, Ginger flying around the room. The bugles go off every hour on the hour, and are even louder in the morning hours. Those horns have gone off every morning at 7:00, exactly noon, and at 10:00 at night. I better go off to Shala High, or as the Gods refer to it as, Shala School of High Magic.
I don’t go to school the way most mortal humans normally would. I actually fly to school. Now, I know what you are thinking… No, I do not take a jet, or have a hoverboard, I’m an angel, but I’m not really that different at Shala High. All of the students that go there are not freaks, but they are not human either. Only students that can classify as a God, Goddess, Angel, or Nymph can go to this school, but you better make sure that you have a mode of transportation, because this school is located up in the clouds.
Every single student that goes to Shala School of High Magic has a familiar, and each familiar has a special power. My familiar is my Shiba Inu, Ginger. Her special power is that she can heal any medical diseases that you may have, or cuts, bruises, or broken bones. She can also can fly, and gives her master, which is me, immortality. My best friend, Zephyr Ai has a pet Wyvren that is named Aeros. He can summon mini tornadoes at will, can be ridden, and breathes fire. Every teacher also has a familiar, but they are far more powerful. My least favorite teacher, Mrs. Morgan, has a black wolf. The wolf sits near her desk all the time, and follows her wherever she would go. If you do not complete your homework on time, the dog will sit next to you and growl every time you try to get up.
I cannot really believe that I, Crystal Fitzlander am actually going to get my silver wings today! I will be one step closer to being a full angel. If I could just simply fly up to the Clouds, and reach for the sun, pull it up into the sky, and bring dawn to Earth, I could easily get them. It shouldn't be too hard by now, considering the fact that my parents have taught me this millions of times. Bringing Dawn was in my blood, and it is impossible that I will ever fail this... "You can do it!" At first, I cannot recognise whose voice it is. After a while, i notice that it is my father, telling me exactly what to do, just like the first time I done it when I was only 500 sky years, or as you may want to call it, 5 human years old.
