Chapter Four

You were woken in the morning by the sun shining onto your face, and you sleepily roll over...to an empty bed. With a sudden alarm, you sit up and look around the room. Empty. However, just as you're about to get upset, you hear the click of the bathroom door unlocking and a lovely sight indeed graces your eyes.

"Good morning, babe" Max is smiling as he runs a hand through his wet hair, a white towel draped loosely around his waist.
"I didn't want to wake you, you looked too cute."
He sits on the edge of the bed and leans in for a kiss, which you eagerly receive and reciprocate. He moves to lie beside you, gently stroking your bare thighs.
"I have to go meet the boys soon" He says in between kisses, "We have to get more vlog footage today, it would be nice if you tagged along, if you wanted to that is?"
You beam and kiss him again, softly, "Sounds like fun, I'll just let Lucy know where I'll be"

You spend the next 20 minutes cuddling half naked on the bed, exchanging gentle kisses and chatting. Eventually you drag yourself away from Max to shower and get ready.

You and Max arrive together at the venue and regroup with the rest of the group for brunch. You're not surprised that Lucy is there as well, as she sits down between Joji and Chad, as you sit across from them in between Ian and Max. It's only 11am but the boys get in a round of drinks, pints for all them, wine for Lucy and a whiskey and coke for yourself.
With a loud "Cheers!", you clink your glasses together and begin the second day of your Vidcon adventure.

Chad is in control of the camera as he pans it around the table, Ian and Joji are playing up to the camera and messing around, but you're preoccupied with Max at your side.
"I'm really glad you get along with the guys so well." He's whispering into your ear, his hand placed gently on your thigh. "I really like spending time with you, (y/n)"
He's blushing slightly as he talks, grinning widely as well.
"I really enjoy spending time with you too, Max" You smile and tuck your hair behind your ear shyly. Max leans in and kisses you, his hand now on your cheek, and you kiss him back tenderly.
For a short time, you're allowed to enjoy your little moment with Max before the boys, and Lucy, starting wooping and ooohing loudly and you realise the camera is now facing towards you both.
You turn bright red and quickly pull away from him,
"What's wrong?" Max asks, laughing.
"Your fans...What will they think?" You mumble.
"(y/n), I don't give a shit, let them think what they want." He smirks and pulls you back into another long enthusiastic kiss.

"That's fucking gay, Max" Ian laughs.
