~Prologue~
"So why are we at the mall again?" Avery asked quietly strolling along with Chance and Eloise.
Chance's eyes widened as Eloise stopped in her tracks. He took a step back closer to Avery and whispered, "I told you not to ask..." Avery blushed innocently and wrapped his arms around Chance, preparing for what would happen.
Eloise turned around to face the two. She opened her mouth wide and sucked in some air. That's where she started her lecture...
"I thought I already told you this! I need an outfit for the first day of school tomorrow 'cuz I want to look better for the new year and what I need is a dress! Yes a Dress! Not one of the skull zombie death dresses from Hot-topic I need a pretty, casual dress from Ambercrombie & Fitch! Something frilly and pink like the bras at Victoria's Secret and I need it today now that I finally have enough money for one dress! One! So we have to go somewhere in the mall now so I can get used to the dress and I can look amazingly stunning at school! We will be Juniors tomorrow and I want to at least have my last years of high school to be glamorous ones!" Eloise breathed in and out being overly dramatic. Avery trembled at her yelling, but he had enough courage to say something. "But Elli you always look pretty." He gave her an adorable innocent child like smile. Eloise stopped intensively breathing, then she went up to Avery. Her lips were inches away from his ear.
"But I've never been fabulous!" Elosie shouted in Avery's ear. The scream caused his ear to ring as his body weakened and collapsed from being frightened. "I've never been like those other girly teen girls at school and that's why I have never been a princess." Eloise complained and she let out a sigh.
Chance grabbed Avery by the torso and pulled him up. He then easily set Avery down against the wall. Chance knelt in front of him with sympathy. "Are you alright?" He asked.
Avery flushed and rubbed his chesnut colored hair. He smiled shyly. "Um, yea I think so, I just hurt my head a little."
Eloise leaned forward to see what was happening.
Chance leaned in closer to Avery. He lowered his eyes and pushed Avery's short bangs so his forehead was visible. Then, Chance leaned even closer and kissed Avery's forehead gently. He then stood up and took Avery's hand and pulled him up as well.
"Better?" Chance asked as he smiled sweetly. Avery nodded and gave a smile back, his face still rosy from blushing.
"Ohmygod that's so cute! You guys are such a cute couple!" Eloise squealed with joy, completely forgetting her despair.
"Kay calm down Elli," Chance said laughing a little as he motioned for Avery to come and start walking again. Eloise started moving with them as well. "Now tell us why you need a dress so bad."
Eloise walked silent for a moment, like she didn't even hear anything. Chance opened his mouth about to repeat himself, but Eloise spoke softly, "For the first two years of high school I've been made fun of for what I wear and what I like. I just thought that this year people would be able to see how fun and cool I can be, even if I have to wear and extremely girly dress."
Chance nodded and then put a hand on her shoulder. "It's okay, we all know how you feel, and we'll help you find the best and most girliest dress ever." Eloise looked over at Chance and stopped walking. She looked around at all the stores she could see...
"Okay." She said and gave a big grin to both Chance and Avery.
"LET'SGOOVERTOHOLLISTER!!' Eloise screamed and dashed through the crowds of people left and right, within seconds the girl was no where to be seen.
"Elli wait!" Chance chuckled as he called for her.
"Come on Avery, let's go to Hollister." He took Avery's hand and pulled his lover along. They both ran through the bustling people, following Eloise through the Mall of America.
