Blakely POV

When I finally wake up, I decide that it’s time to work some things out. When I enter the kitchen the three of them are eating breakfast in silence. I grab some toast off the counter and spread some strawberry jelly on it. I take a bite out of my toast as I take a seat at the table by Liam. We sit and eat in silence for a few minutes. The silence is  killing me. Since none of them want to do so, I speak up, “I am sorry I snapped last night. I’d love for you guys to help me, eh-even you. Liam.” I shyly smile as i finish. They all look up at me and smile. I am so glad that they are not holding a grudge over last  night.

“You know that I’ll do whatever I possibly can. I will get you the best doctor! Money is NOT an issue anymore. We can do whatever you want, go wherever you want, too. You name it, I’ll make sure you get. I swear.” Liam says while quite literally jumping out of his seat. Before any of us could protest my brothers plans, he had run off into the other room and was making a call to god knows who.

While waiting for Liam to come back and join us my parents and I had talked. Our conversation consisted of  them saying how proud of me that I was letting them all help me, me calling my doctor to set up an appointment, and even when the next time my mother and I planned on going shopping. go figure….When Liam finally got off the phone he came back and joined us.

“Well, I have a surprise and I need a favor,” Liam sighed, “My mates are coming early for our American leg of the tour...SURPRISE!” he said with as much enthusiasm as he could muster up.

“Awe that’s great sweetie,” my mom grinned from ear to ear, “So, what’s that favor you need?”

“Ermm...well, they kinda need a place to stay until we start the tour in 2 months.” Liam mumbled, rubbing the nape of his neck.

“Well that’s simple, really. Three can stay here and two can stay---”

“With me! I can handle it, really. It’s not everyday that you can say that ⅖ of One Direction are staying in your apartment.” I cut my mom off.

“Well, I was going to say at the neighbors, but if you think that you can handle it then, sure sweetie. I mean, why not?” my mom chuckles.

After we settled all of our “guest problems” we all go out to an early dinner since most of our day was wasted.

****THAT FRIDAY****

Being sick sucks. Let me just tell you that. The pain can feel never ending. When you do start to feel better, two of things could happen: 1. you get better or 2. your body was tricking you and you get worse. We all like to think that the only option is to get better, but that is not always the case. Small illnesses will almost always get better, but those bigger ones are the ones you need to be aware of. Those sneaky little bitches just want to cause pain and take your body for themselves while you sit there and rot away and eventually die. No one wants to die, but instead live forever. When you think about it, who would really want to live forever? Would you just keep getting older while your body keeps on decaying or would you just stop aging and stay at whatever age you find to be ideal. Every idea and plan has its flaws, but it’s the ideas and plans that has more positives in it than it does negatives. So, is it better to die or rather live forever? And, if you chose that death would be better, who all will miss you? Who would show up to your funeral? Would anyone? Would you be buried or rather cremated? Most people don’t think about this in their everyday life, but I do. You never know exactly when you will die so, what’s wrong with being prepared? I personally would rather be buried. The idea of spending eternity in a wooden box does not sound appealing, but having my body incinerated sounds worse. And what happens if your family goes against your wishes and has the opposite done to your body that you requested? Nothing. Just. Nothing.

These are the thoughts that run through my head as Liam and I await on Doctor Aplin. We wait for a few minutes longer until the door flies open.

“So, sadly, the brain tumor is much indeed back and it is even more powerful this time…” Dr. Aplin mutters before walking back out to grab something.
