Chapter 15

3 days later:

Caitlin's P.O.V:

I've been laying in bed for the last three days.

My therapist said I was in a deep depression.

Nothing makes me happy right now except for Dakota.

"Cate, Dakota's up, do you want me to bring her in for you" Justin said walking in.

"Yes," I said quietly.

Everything reminds me of that horrible night it was like my nightmare came true.

Thank goodness he didn't see my baby girl and hurt her.

"Here she is do you need anything else?" he asks.

"Yeah will you just come cuddle with Dakota and I," I patted the spot next to me.

"Sure," he smiled and got in the covers.

Dakota was in between us and Justin was playing with strands of my hair.

"I'm sorry this happened to you," he said.

"It's not your fault," I said.

"I was the one who let him in!" he said putting his hands through his hair.

"Yeah and that's okay I would rather you let him in then he force his way in through me." I said cupping my hand on his cheek.

"Okay," he said putting his hand on mine that was on his face.

"Oh my goodness," I said looking down at Dakota fast asleep.

"She's our little princess," Justin's said.

"Yes she is," I chuckled.

"Can I live here and help you raise her?" he asked.

"Sure," I smiled kind of excited that I would have some help.

Next day:

Caitlin's P.O.V:

I've been feeling much better latley.

I got up for the first time in 3 days last night and I showered.

Today I decided to get up and go downstairs to see Justin making breakfast and holding little Dakota in his hands.

I just sat at the counter and watched.

"Oh hey I didn't see you there," he said after a few mins.

"Oh yeah I decided to get up." I said.

"Yeah so my mom is bringing my stuff by." Justin said.

(Lets just pretend Pattie knows and she is happy about the whole middle name and yeah.)

"Great," I smiled getting up and grabbing Dakota from him and putting her in her high chair.

"Do you want to learn how to feed her?" I asked sitting on the counter infront of her.

"Uh sure," he said coming up from behind me and wrapping his arms around my waist.

*after feeding Dakota*

"Well that is harder that I thought," Justin said taking baby Dakota in the living room and putting her on her big blanket with her toys.

I was eating the breakfast Justin made in the kitchen.

"Hey we have to talk!" he said sitting next to me.

"Yes," I said still stuffing my face with his awesome breakfast.

"So are we like dating?" he asked.

"Yeah I feel like it would be better for Dakota to grow up with a mom and dad together. and it would be good for us," I said turning to him and starring at his eyes.

"Thanks babe," he winked and pecked me nose.

He cleared my plate for me and put them in the dishwasher.

He came back over and wrapped his arms around me.

"You are perfect and I hope we will be together till the end." he said kissing my neck.

"Always till the end," I said starting to giggle.

Pattie came by and visited with Dakota and I and she dropped Justin's stuff off.

After we talked for awhile I went out and walked Pattie to her car.

"Cate, I'm so glad your back! I missed you," she said hugging me.

"I missed you way more," I giggled.

She giggled and then went in the car.

"Bye," she said through the window.

I went inside to see Justin laying down with Dakota laying on him.

I smiled and took a picture.

I decided to start cooking dinner while they slept.

I decided to make spaghetti, Justin's favorite, for him.

"Babe," he said in a raspy voice coming up behind me and wrapping his muscular arms around me.

"Hey," I said turning around to face him and kissing him lightly.

"I'm going to put Dakota down for bed," he said walking over to the couch and picking her tiny body up.

As he went upstairs I put spaghetti on 2 plates and I went into the living room.

I put the two plates on the little coffee table in front of our black leather couch and then I turned on our tv to a Lakers game.

To be honest I love basketball and so does Justin so we watch it together when we have a chance.

Our favorite team is the lakers especially Kobe Bryant.

"I love you," Justin said sneaking up behind me and hugging me.

"I love you too! now lets eat the game is about to start." I said while sitting down.

He sat down really close next to me and we ate silently while watching the game.

The Lakers were going against the Warriors so it was a close game.

Lakers ended up winning by 20 though.

"Man, what a game," Justin said while grabbing our empty plates and putting them in the sink.

"Yeah," I giggled.

"So babe," Justin said walking back to the couch.

"What," I said with my eyes glued on my phone.

"Scott called he wants me to go on tour in 2 days." he said.

"What! you have to leave Kota and I," I said.

"No, both of you can come." he smiled.

"I don't know," I said looking down.

"Come on it will be great! Dakota will get to see all around the world," he said grabbing my hand.

"Fine, okay," I chuckled.
