I shook my head to get out of the memory. Jocelyn, who was still in my lap, and the guys looked at me weird. I just looked down at the table and I guess it would be weird for somebody to just shake their head out of nowhere. I was kinda hungry so I whispered to Jocelyn to get me a pizza. She left shortly after giggling to herself. For what reason I have no idea. Soon as she left the twins hounded me with questions at the same time. Jacob just sat quietly. "Shut up" I said frustratedly. "And nothing is wrong with me." The twins just nodded their heads unconvinced but left it at that. Thank god.
Maya's POV
Jason and I were just chatting away. I looked up for just a quick second and saw Jocelyn giving me a death glare while walking to the line and giggling. She laughing while I'm like what's funny doe.
Jason snapped his fingers in front of my face cause I was still watching her. I looked back at him but not before giving her one last glance. We started back talking until the bell rang signaling lunch is over. We got up and put our trash in the garbage can.
"See ya later girly matter of a fact KEEP CALM AND NERD ON" He said while laughing at his own joke. I just shook my head at him while chucking. Did I ever tell y'all how my best friend looked I don't think I did. Well... He has long curly hair, dark brown eyes, and is brown skin. Anyways yep that's him most folks get him mixed up with Jacob Perez. He could be so popular but since he hangs with me he's so not. Sometimes I ask him why is he's friends with me. And everytime he say the same thing " I don't like fake biotches." I believe he's gay but I don't know. I only made that assumption because one day when he was over it sounded like that what he was gonna say but his mom called so whatever.
I never confronted him about it after the third time I asked because he gets closed off. I only asked three times because you know the saying third times a charm. At least that's what I think it says. Anyways off to class I go.
