Ch.1 The outcasts

Carter pov

Popular what is everybody's obsession with being popular honestly it seems like to much work having to be the way everyone wants you to be I mean it would be cool to actually have people know who you are and realise you are there unlike know where I have to quietly wait until the couple making out right in front of my locker moves

I awkwardly squish myself past them quickly opening my locker and grabbing my Chem books before being meet with a huge force that knocks me straight to the floor I look up to see a boy with green dyed hair with a smirk playing on his lips as he looks down at me

"Opps" he says before grabbing his books and heading of with his friends as they laugh at what I'm assuming is because of me

I sigh as I grab my book from the floor and shut my locker by now the bell has rung and I knew I was late I make my way to chemistry hoping that maybe Chase was here today so I wouldn't be paired up randomly I enter the class Mr.Froy immediately looks bitterly at me

"And why are you late" he says I look awkwardly around spotting Chase sitting there looking sadly at me already having an idea of why I could be late

"I'm waiting for an answer Miss Evan" Mr.Froy says making everyone but Chase laugh

"Uh I um you see it was uh" I begin struggling to get out the words

"Just sit down" Mr.Froy sighs I immediately rush to the seat next to Chase I already hated today

~•~3 terrible classes later~•~

Finally lunch I think to myself as I begin to walk in the cafeteria it always smelled quite weird and was very loud but I was better then getting called on by a teacher who knows your fear of public speaking

I plop myself down at my normal seat next to Chase and his lovely boyfriend Evan they look at me and smile

"Want a gusher" Evan says shoving a green gusher towards me a goofy smile on his lips I nod my head grabbing it

"Where Nikki" I ask looking around

"Dead" Chase says looking at me dead serious as Evan begins cracking up beside him I smack Chase lightly on the arm

"Ow" he yelps dramatically pretending to be in pain before fake crying into Evan shoulder

"Ay chill don't get triggered and hurt my lovely boyfriend I'm pretty sure Nikki is doing a make up test" Evan says will soothing a still fake crying Chase

"yah don't hurt the lovely boyfriend" Chase cries out

"Your an idiot" I say rolling my eyes at him before getting hit in the face with a gusher

"Oh you did not just do that" I say before grabbing a gusher and throwing at his face

Calums pov

"Hey check out the weirdos over there" someone says pointing over to a table where a girl is throwing gushers at one boy while another boy tries to block them each time he does I could hear him faintly say Coby causing the girl to laugh adorably

"They are so weird like seriously you got one weird guy couple and another weird girl with awful hair" Amanda says I sigh I wanted to tell her how rude that was to say that I honestly thought they were really cool but I guess no one else does

"Yah exactly but mostly that girl I think her name is Carter I don't know but she is the weirdest" Another boy says

"Yo I got an idea who is up for a bet" Jackson says this gets my attention I'm always up for a bet

"What is it" I say looking over to him

" I bet that you can't make that Carter girl from nerdy to Miss Perfect in a month" he says I look over to where Carter sits it couldn't be that hard she was already a pretty girl but she just needed confidence

"What do I get if I win" I say raising an eyebrow

"I will give you 100 dollars and if you loose you give me 100 dollars" I think about before nodding my head

"You got a deal" we shake hands I get up walking over to what everyone calls the "outcasts" I thought I was always quite foolish but said nothing

Once I get to where they sit I stand there awkwardly before getting the attention of one of the boys

"What's up Mr.Popular" he says laying his head down on his boyfriends shoulder I look over seeing Carter stare up at me

"Um I just needed to talk to Carter" I say Carter looks taken back by this I look over to her coughing awkwardly

"I was just wondering if you wanted a makeover from my sister" I say before mentally face palming I was already doing so bad at this

"Uh no tha-" she begins before getting cut off by her friend

"she would love to" he says

"Evan what the heck" she says looking over at Evan with a pout which honestly was adorable

"Oh come on Car you need a makeover not saying your ugly it would just be nice if you got one wouldn't it be nice" Evan says looking towards his boyfriend during the last part

"Mhm" he says softly

"Fineeeeeeeeee" Carter says dragging it out as long as possible

"Ok uh cool just um meet me at the gate after school" I say before getting up and making my way back to where I sit

Carter pov

"I hate you both" I say one Calum leaves they both just laugh

"Oh come on one makeover won't kill you" Chase says running a hand through his hair

"You my friend you are the reasonI drink at night" I say jokingly because I can honestly never say mad at them they laugh quite loudly getting looks from people but the don't care I shake my head at them before hearing the bell ring making me groan knowing that it's back to awful work again

I'm not ready for after school
