Lele's eyes slowly fluttered open, revealing a dark room with one dim light hanging over her. She quickly began to panic,
"Jack?" She whispered, sitting up. She looked around, not knowing what time it was or where she was. Swinging her legs off the table, she jumped down. Making her way up the rickety, old wooden stairs, she quickly found the door and left. Walking down the dark street, she kept looking behind her, making sure no one was following her. She flicked her hair out of her face, wondering why her captor didn't secure the door, maybe he wanted to get out, but for what reason?
She eventually made it back to Marks house, turning the knob she opened the door, stepping inside and closing the door with a loud thud, locking it behind her.
"Hello?" Tyler's voice questioned.
She didn't say anything, but was relived when Jacks head poked itself around the corner, he was still here. He sighed and ran up to her, practically lifting her up in his arms. She hugged him back, wrapping her legs around his waist as he spun her around a few times. She hid her face in the crook of his neck, a few muffled laughs sounding from her lips.
"What happened?" He whispered in her ear, setting her down. She hesitated to respond,
"Nothing." She answered, letting him go, but keeping her arms around his neck. She knew she lied, but she couldn't tell him the truth, only because she didn't know the truth. She felt him take hold of her forearms, squeezing slightly, looking into her eyes dark eyes. She smiled, letting go of his neck and rushing over to Mark, hugging him too. Ethan hugged both of them, followed by Tyler and Jack. She loved them all, how they cared so much about her.
"We should probably get some rest, I did text your cousin by the way Lele." Jack informed, a smile on his face. She smiled back and followed them all upstairs, but knew she would be getting zero sleep that night, or what was left of it.
She ended up laying in bed, staring at the ceiling, until finally she dozed off. She woke up to the sound of someone's muffled screams. She sat up and practically jumped out of the bed, peering out the doorway, only to see Jack being dragged off by something.
"Jack!" She called out, quickly taking off after him, and waking everyone else up. She rounded the corner and he was gone, just like that. She felt tears well up in her eyes, if only she had lied, this would never had happened to her Irish friend. She grabbed one of his hoodies and her converse, running out the door and down the street, she knew where he had taken him, and she didn't care whether she died or not, she wanted her Jackaboy back.
She found the house, every sense of her being was screaming to stay away, but she couldn't bring herself too. She didn't move from her spot, and heard something soar through the air, hitting her neck. She quickly realised it was an anaesthesia. She quickly fell to the ground. This was the result of a little white lie she did, the potential loss of someone close to her, and maybe even her own life.
