Chapter five - exceeds point of view pt. 2

(warning; long chapter) (normal P.O.V)

Happy and Lily flew of to the house of Shikamaru where Gajeel and Levy are staying. When the exceeds arrived, they saw Charles at the window, eavesdropping on Gajeel and Levy.

"How long do guys keep me waiting?" Charles said

"Well it took us awhile back, and now we're here." Lily said "So how's Gajeel and Levy? Are they getting along with that pineapple guy?"

"You could say that, but after Shikamaru gave a book to Levy, she never responded to Shikamaru, because you all know Levy." Charles said

"Always reading books." Happy and Lily said in a sync.

After that Lily began taking down notes and they kept on spying on them. Now let's go inside of the house.

(Inside of the house)

*Knock knock* "Shikamaru, it's time to eat. Oh, and bring the cats over as well, I made them something special." Yoshiko, Shikamaru's mom, said and went back downstairs

"Alright I'll be down. Come on, let's go down you two." Shikamaru said then Shadow followed but Kimiko stayed. Shadow turns around and see that he's teammate isn't following Shikamaru, so he scratch the back of Shikamaru's shoes to stop from going any further.

"Ouch! Shadow, what was that for?!" Shadow points at Kimiko with his paw. "Oh I see, and maybe next time, don't scratch, meowed ok." Shikamaru said sarcastically and goes to Kimiko and tries to carries her, but she insisted on reading the book of Maomolin the ghost cat.

"For once in my life, I never seen a cat obsessed with book. Hey, Shadow does Kimiko always reads books." Shadow nodded and Shikamaru somehow manages to take Kimiko out of her reading and then he also picked up Shadow.

The three of them went downstairs to eat, but the exceeds have the edge of taking a look downstairs, and so they did.

"By the way, Shikamaru. Who gave you those cats?" A man that looks exactly like Shikamaru but has a scar across his nose said to his son

"Oh those guys, Naruto gave them to me as well others as well. But I keep these two because one of them wouldn't be able to live without the other."

"Well that's sweet of you." Yoshiko said.

After that they didn't talk any further, Shikamaru went back upstairs to his room with Shadow and Kimiko.

Meanwhile O with the exceeds.

"So, where are we going next?" A white fured cat ask her teammates

"I think we should eat first. It's getting so we- Oh! Darn it! I forgot we don't have any money to buy for today." A black panther cat said in realisezation

"Don't worry. I happen to pick up some money on the dumpster at the park a while ago, so we have a little money to but atleast rice cakes." The blue cat said

"Nice one, Happy. How much did you get?" Lily ask

"Wait let me check *grabs his bag and gets the money* umm, I think.. 130 yen."

"Alright good let's go. It's night time so I guess we could run the streets without people noticing." Charles said and after that they flew of at the front of Ichiraku's Ramen shop, soon after they were caught by a particular Ninja with hair that defined the laws of gravity.

The cats were shocked to move or atleast talk to the man

"Y-you're not g-g-going to at-attack us?" Happy shuttered

He then bent down at their eye level "Hmm... Don't worry, I wouldn't attack you or anything. You guys look hungry, do want something to eat, it's my treat." The man said "By the way, my name is Kakashi Hatake."
