My eyes glared down at it, at the thin black cover. I wanted to read it, but I wasn't a bad person like that, I didn't ever go through people's things.

I picked it up and ran my fingers down the fabric as my heart bested fast as I was thinking whether to read it or not.

"Hey!" I then heard a voice yell, which caused me to jump, turn and drop the diary with fear.

It was Louis.

"I-I wasn't going-"

"Save it curly," Louis said, pacing over fast to pick up the diary which was now on the floor.

"I really didn't read any-"

But he had walked out the door by this point. Instead of seeing him walk away, I saw him call some friends over to him and they all ran to him, all with smiles. I didn't want them to come in here.

They all walked in, Louis the only one giving me am evil grin as his friends walked over to the tables. There had to be at least eight.

"Wh-what is this?" I asked, mostly surprised because the shop probably didn't even get ten customers a day.

"My friends, are hungry. So I told them that you would give them as much as they wanted for free," Louis said, smirking as I looked down at him.

"Well I'm not doing that. I need the money," I say.

"You read my diary, I think you deserve it huh?" Louis smirked.

"For the last time, I didn't-"

"Hey! Where's the food?" A guy shouted.

"Yeah curly! We're starving!" Another shouted.

"Come on Harry. Poor guys who live on the street begging for food, and yet you can't give them any? You didn't seem that mean when I met you," Louis trailed off, with a smile.

"Fine," I said, through gritted teeth.

I grabbed a plate of muffins and served one to each person, although they all only begged for more and more. I gave them food for the next two hours or so, until they finally left.

I sighed, laying back on the couch sighing. Why would I do such a stupid thing? I could get fired.

I then checked my watch, and it read 10:02pm. I could finally go home.

"Goodnight, Barbara," I called, before walking out the door to the cold night.

I walked a few miles down the road into the woods. I sat up against a tree and covered myself up with a soft quilt Barbara had made for me. Nobody knew I didn't have a place to live. I lied to Barbara because I didn't like everything she did for me. Of course I loved her, but I didn't want her taking care of me. I felt bad.

My mum left me when I was just a little kid, and my dad went to jail a week ago, so that's why I decided to start working at the shop, to help my father and earn my own money. For now I didn't have a home, but I was working at it.

I heard leaves crunching, and I was terrified. It was scary enough to be out in the woods alone.

I backed up against the tree and hugged my blanket as my heart raced, and noticed a familiar body shape and hair. Louis again.

"L-Louis?" I called, watching him look directly over at me.

"Why are you here?" He demanded.

"I-I've been here every night for the past month," I said.

"You need to leave," He said to me.

"W-why?" I asked.

"It's dangerous okay! Get out!" He yelled.

I stood up to Louis and faced him, glad I was taller.

"This isn't your property. Why don't you get off?" I said to him.

Louis laughed, shaking his head down at the ground, while I looked at him in confusion.

"My dad works for the government, so technically yes, I do own this land," Louis smiled.

I backed away and let a breath out, looking at Louis' smirk on his face.

"Fine," I mutter, picking up my blanket, pillow, and even diary.

I started to walk out of the woods until I heard his voice.

"Do you really not have a home?" He asked me.

I shook my head, then answered, "No."

I then heard a sigh from Louis, and he said, "Stay with me tonight, I'm not leaving you out here. I'll have to sneak you in because my dad won't let me bring in, what he likes to call strays," Louis said.

I turned around and looked at Louis who was faced towards me.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Positive, Harry," He said, seriously.

"But why?" I asked, walking over to him.

"Because I never said I didn't care about people."
