Mephisto went and got his swimsuit on and headed to the beach. He saw Praxina sitting there at the waters edge. She looked up and smiled at him. "You ready?" She asked. "As ready as I'll ever be." Was his reply. She extended a hand to him. He took it and they jogged into the water." Take a deep breath." She called out befor they hit the water.
He looked to his right at Praxina in time to see bubbles wrap around her. When the bubbles cleared he saw a mermaid Praxina. She looked beautiful her hair and tail shimmering in the water. She looked so majestic in the water. He quickly went to the surface to breath. "I forgot that you can't breath underwater." She then looked like she remembered something. "I will be right back stay here."
Then she dived under the water with a big splash.
She soon was out of sight. So he waited there like he was told. Then a few minutes later she resurfaced. She had some seaweed in her hand. "Eat this and you will always be able to breath underwater." He looked at her then the gross pile in her hand. He reluctantly took it out of her hand ate it.
He felt little gills grow on his nec. But they were so small that not even the most trained eye couldn't see them. But he was able to breath underwater as well as if he was above water. She took his hand and they swam to the reef.
They swam over the reef and he saw more types and color of fish then he thought existed. They swam for what felt like hours. She told him all kinds of facts that he didn't think he would ever learn them all. Soon the water was getting dark but they weren't even that deep. They disided to turn back.
When they got back they just layer on the beach watching the sunset. Soon they were completely dry. They flew back to there cave. Grimorr (I don't know how to spell his name😝😉) was probably going to be angrey at them for wasting a perfect day to get the jewels. But he didn't so they just went to bed. "Hey Prax." "Hmm" " We should go swimming more often." "I agree." Then they both had dreams of the ocean wondering if tomorrow would be as amazing.
