I told Dani about Monica. She rolled her eyes. I laughed and said "The teacher said something about a dance tomorrow. Something about a "Beginning of the Year Dance" or something." Dani looked at me and laughed. I didn't know what was happening but we stopped walking. Oh no. It was our older sister Kits house. Oh great! I got so mad. We walked up the stairs and knocked. Kit came busting out the door in a sleeve less rock band t-shirt and a black beanie covering half of he short red hair. "Dani? Ashman? What are you guys doing here?" She said leaning in the doorway. "Actually I just go by Ashley now thanks. We just wanted to say hi and see what's up." She looked to her right and said "Well, I'm just chillin'. See? That's what's up. Now go home and don't tell mom you saw me. Bye" Kit quickly pushed us out and slammed the door behind us. My left ear started to ring. "That was weird." Dani said looking back. I laughed and we started to walk home. This is not what Kit would do. I've gotta see what's going on.
