Talent Show

The next day we woke up and started laughing about what we did. We ate, what was barely left of, the cake we stole from Niall when he fell asleep. I groaned once I realized that I had school today. Not only that but I had to sing. I had to audition for that stupid talent show because I lost a bet.

"Ugh!" I groaned.

"What?" Sierra asked confused.

"I have a talent show today." I explained how I lost the bet.

"That's good!" She was excited but I don't think she understood. She's the only person that's heard me sing other than the music teacher and the other contestants.

"I'm afraid Niall won't like me singing. Not to mention, since they'll probably go today, Jordan is still hung up on me! It's gotten more creepy since the last time you were here!" When I went over to Sierra's house when we were little, before she got famous, her neighbor took a fancy in me. It was and still is creepy!

"Don't worry! Niall will be there!" She assured.

"I don't want him to get in trouble for punching a minor, though. Our relationship may be legal, but him punching somebody like 3 years younger than us isn't. The press would have a field day!" I listed my concerns.

"He won't get in trouble, I promise." She swore. I nodded and thanked her.

We walk out of our room and walked into the kitchen. The boys are already up. At least everyone but Niall is. I just laughed as I heard a scream. Niall came running down the stairs, probably in search for his cake.

"Niall, babe, calm down. Sierra and I took the cake last night because we were hungry." Niall pouted.

"I'll make you a new cake later." I reasoned. He picked me up and spun me around.

"But, only if you'll go to her talent show today!" Sierra said. I blushed deeply. She's so forward with some things. I'm the shy one.

"Of course! I didn't even know you had one. What's your talent? cooking?" Niall joked.

"I guess you'll find out when we get there." I run upstairs to get dressed. Sierra joins me to change into something as well. I wear these high-waisted shorts that are a worn~down~jean color. I have on a red tank top, since its rather warm outside today. I lightly curl my long, light purple hair. Perrie and I got our hair dyed together and I really like the color on her so I wanted to get it. I grab my teal high tops and put on my glasses. I finish off the outfit with a music note necklace. Sierra finishes getting ready with her hair in a pony-tail, a black skirt that comes to her knees and a blue t-shirt that brings out her eyes. We both have winged eye-liner on and mascara. I grab my jean fabric backpack on one shoulder and put my phone in my back pocket. We walk down the stairs to see the boys ready to go. Niall drives me, and Liam. Harry drives Sierra, Louis, and Zayn. I get my sunglasses from my glove compartment and slip them on as we drive down the road. I put in my diamond nose stud and took out my silver one. Niall and Liam complemented my nose stud. I thanked them. Niall held my hand as i admired my treble clef tattoo on my wrist Sierra and I got before she went on her tour. As we arrived to the school, Niall helped me get out of his tall truck. At least it was tall to me. I'm quite short. I giggled as he set me down. Sierra, Harry, Zayn, and Lou walked towards us. Harry's arm was around her waist. Niall and I held hands as we walked into the school to help set up for the talent show.

"I brought some help Mrs. Gray." I said referring to the boys.

"Perfect!" She clapped with excitement.

"Sierra and I are going to go check the mics." I excused us while she put the boys to work with moving the speakers. Sierra checked the mic while I swept the stage. When I was done, she helped me some vocal warm ups. Jordan came up to us. I rolled my eyes.

"Nice to see you, Sierra." He complimented. She thanked him while Harry stood behind her. His arms wrapped around her waist as he set his head on hers.

"Niall wants you." He told he as I nodded my head and walked towards Niall. He was in the hallway by the gym. Everyone was still in class but the people who were participating in the talent show. I walk up to him and wrap my arms around his neck standing on my tip-toes, he still had to lean down to kiss me. We stood there his arms wrapped securely around my waist. When we pulled away he asked,

" 'Member when we first met in kindergarden, then we started liking eachother in 7th grade but wouldn't admit it? I can't believe it took me so long to ask you out." He chuckled.

"I thought the same thing. I was starting to think you didn't like me at all." I laughed, joking with him.

"Well, I'm glad you finally mine. No one can take that away from me." He smiled just thinking about our relationship.

"Look at us Ni. I'm a senior and your touring with the boys. We are so grown up." I said like a middle school girl making Niall laugh at my silliness. Suddenly, we heard Louis scream,

"OI MY GOISH!! STOP BEING SO ADORABLE!!" We both started laughing.

"PIGGY-BACK RIDE!!!" Louis turned around for me to jump on his back. I looked at Niall and he nodded his head for me to go. I jumped on Lou's back and he ran all around the gym, both of us laughing the whole time. He drops me off at the stage. I sit on the edge of the stage floor since it's higher than the gym floor. Louis turns around and says,

"You know he really likes you." He says referring to Niall.

"I know, I'm so lucky I have him. I really love him." I admit.

"I don't think you understand how much he really cares for you. He'd do anything for you, even share his food, and if one of us would try that he would rip off our arm or tackle us to the ground."He explained.

"Yeah, he's really violent when someone touches his food," Liam argreed. "I still have a bruise from trying to take his bag of chips." He says rubbing his arm where the bruise was. I laughed.

"I got to go get ready for the show. Make sure you guys are in front row!!" I told Liam because he was reserving seats for them. He nodded his head as they went and sat down. The bell rung and everyone came in the gym. I got up from my spot and went backstage. Sierra met me back there where I was getting ready, setting up my wireless mic on my face, and wished me luck as she went to sit with the boys. I thanked her before she left. The lights dimmed and everyone began screaming with excitement. The curtain was pulled back and the first constestant was anounced and brought out. I was the last to go so I just practiced and applauded the people that performed. Finally it was my turn. As my name was announced, I walked out on stage and waved to the crowd. My song started playing. It was 'TKO' by Justin Timberlake. I know its a boy song but, it's a good song.

"Baby, everyday in trainin' to get the gold. That's why your body's crazy, but you can't run from yourself. That's where it's difficult. Girl I can see in your eyes that there's something inside that made you evil. Where did you go?  'Cause it just ain't fair. Over here thinkin'  'bout the crap you say. Dont know why it gets to me. It cuts right, on my eye, yeah it hurt won't lie. Still can't see, think i saw you with another guy, Can't fight, knocked down, then I got over you. Can't fight no more, you knock me out. What am I supposed to do? i don't understand it, tell me how you could be so low. Been swingin'  after the bell and after all the whistle blows. Tried to below the belt, through my chest, perfect hit, till the dawn, dang it babe. This ain't the girl I used to know. No, not anymore. TKO. I'm out for count, yeah girl you knock me out. It's just a TKO"

I finish all that I'm supposed to sing. I did a choreographed dance along with the song. I had on red boxing gloves and was 'boxing' with one of my friends that wanted to help. I thought it was really cool. Apparently so did everyone else. Once I was done, everyone stood up and cheered. I was really happy.
