Corliss is a young 17 year old girl, living in a fast paced futuristic world where being free spirited and artistic is frowned up. Her parents worry about the thought of having a child who refuses to mold to societies standards. She loves just taking in the world one step at a time, hating the future her parents have set up for her. Who she has to marry, what she is going to do. But with the list of rules that her society has set up, one being; Don't ever go near the wall. She finds safety in the presence of a stranger, on the other side.
