If you are one of the (few) readers who has already read this story once, you will probably notice that I have made some changes. The first one you probably noticed is that I changed Indie's name to Emmy. I don't know why I picked the name Indigo, but I didn't like it anymore so I decided to change it. The biggest change I made was the character of Emmy's father. I decided it was unfair to make him abusive and drunk if I could not accurately and realistically depict all of the negative affects it had on Emmy. I didn't want to romanticize abuse like I've noticed a lot of stories do on Wattpad, so I decided it would be best to make him more of an absentee father instead. There are also some minor detail tweaks in a couple other chapters that you may or may not notice. My goal was to make the story seem more realistic, so I hope with those changes I was able to do so. I am much happier with this version than the old version, so I hope you like it!
