"Miss Brentworth, please wake up." A soft voice beside me said, it was just above a whisper and sounded like an angel. I opened one eye and spotted my maid, Anna-Rose. "Good morning Anna." I said quietly, a small yawn escaping my mouth. I giggled as I stretched, my arms raised in the air. "Breakfast will be ready soon. Your father excepts you to be down at 8:30, no later." She told me, walking out of the room. I got up and walked over to my closet, the golden rays of the morning sun giving a warm glow to my room. I walked inside of my closet, choosing a pastel marble print skirt, plain white top that was slightly cropped and a golden necklace that complimented my hair (picture below).

I then went over to my mirror and applied my makeup.

After I was done it was time for my breakfast so I walked down to my dining hall. My whole family was sat there. "Ah Tegan, thanks for finally joining us." My father said as I took my seat next to my twin brother Thayne. He gave me a wide smile before continuing to wolf down his food. I ate mine slowly, savouring the taste of the bacon and eggs in my mouth. "The lords of North Carolina and Nebraska are arriving today with there family. I accept you all to be on your best behaviour."My father said, receiving nods from my old sister and brother. I grinned as my brother shook his head at me. "One of the are my cousins, right?" I questioned my father, pulling out my phone. "Yes, the Lord of Nebraska's wife is your aunt, you have three cousins." He explained. I was scrolling down my insta feed, liking pictures of my friends and fans. I was famous for being a princess and also a model. I took after my mother whilst everyone else was like my father. My father, brothers and sister all had brown hair and dark brown eyes that complimented our light skin well, they were all admired because of it. Me and my mum were blondes, mine was a golden colour, not a honey gold but not an extremely light one. It was a perfect shade of blonde, fully natural despite rumours. My mum was more on the white side of blonde, her hair was paler then most blondes. Our eyes made us stand out as well, the pair of us had the most vibrant blue eyes in the family.
------- later on that day 1:30pm -------
"Hurry up Tegan! They are here!" My father shouted as I walked down the stairs, joining my parents and siblings. I looked around and spotted a book in my brothers hand. I let out a small snort as the cameras began to roll, this would be on national television, everything we do is nowadays. I spotted a family climbing out of a car. Two men, one woman, three boys and one girl. They walked up to us, the public screaming and talking pictures. "Ah Mr Grier, Mr Floyd, glad you got here safely." My father said. "Thanks for having us, Mr Brentsworth." One of them said, making me laugh a little. "Knock it off Tegan!" My brother said with a nudge. I just glared at him. Another car pulled up, a man, a woman, two boys and a girl. "Nice to see you, sister." The man said, hugging my mother. "Ahh, you can definitely tell that Tegan is your daughter." The woman said with a smile. "And you can't tell I'm not?" Jasmine said back, making me smirk at her. "Aww, is Jasmine mad because she doesn't look like me? Sorry that I'm the pretty one here." I said called to her, she just turned red and stamped over to our father. "Tegan's being a brat!"She told him, he turned to me, glaring at me. "Inside. Now." He said with gritted teeth. "My pleasure." I said, walking away with a huge smirk. I swear I heard someone say "Damn, she's a feisty one." But I shrugged it off. I wanted to sleep so that's what I went to do.
