A boy, saddened by his uninteresting and depressed life, wakes up in a land far from home. The people of this land are kind, and give the boy clothing and food. In return, the boy allowed their crops to grow and protected the land against the many evil's that would come at night.
One night, when the village was praising him for his many successes, he went to his cottage in the center of the village and found emptiness.
Inside his cottage were plenty of amazing things many would only find in dreams. There were lizards, and tigers, and birds of all feathers. The walls flowed like water, and the bed was warm and soft like lying on a beautiful summer cloud. Yet in spite of all these beloved treasures, he could not find happiness again, as he knew, that it was all just a dream. He knew it was too good to be true from the very beginning, but most of all, he knew he had to leave.
He decided that he would leave the land of dreams the next day, but when he told the village of his departure, the village turned as black and menacing as shadows. The villagers turned into the very monsters he defended them against. His cottage, once full of creativity and happiness, now only held fear and sadness.
The boy would not back down. He yelled at the monsters to go away. He cried for help, but all to no avail. When it seemed that all was lost for him, he decided he would try something else. He hoped. He hoped and he believed, and he fought back. The shadows were strong, it was true... In comparison though, nothing could really overtake the boys optimism, the boys hope, the boys creativity.
And so, as he was fighting his way through the darkness, he saw a light. He went towards it, not knowing what it would do, or where it would take him. What happened next?
He woke up...
