Life is full of judgement that society has grown accoustmed to.
Have you ever been asked or were asked about someone else:
Are you pretty? or Is she pretty?
Are you ugly? or Is she ugly?
Do you sweat?
Is your hair long? Is her hair short?
Are your clothes name brand? Did she buy that from a grocery store?
Do you have stretch marks? Did you see her stretch marks?
They pull us down with questions to make us insecure about ourselves.
Honestly though, aren't we the ones who make up society?
The ones who encourage their taunting?
Weren't we the ones that fell for their words?
How is it that we find the need to blame everyone but ourselves when it's our fault too?
Does cutting your skin with a blade, or not eating for a few days make a difference when the only result will be more judgement?
Will we ever learn to block out the lies or will the lies leave us in a pool of our own blood?
