*Jay interrupts
"Ooh Hold on a minute I gotta get some popcorn for this" as he left out the room
"What for"
Few minutes later he came bag with a bag of popcorn
"Want some"
"Nah I'm good"
"Continue"
Umm when I was bout 2 years old we moved out of Chicago to Ninth ward near New Orleans with my 3 other siblings
"Oh my god pull out game hella weak" jay interrupted once again
"Nah chill out" I laughed
"My bad keep going"
"At 4 years old I started taking an interest in basketball and playing all the time. When I got into junior high I started modeling outside of school, by my first year of high school I was the star point guard at my high school at 6"3' and I started becoming the popular guy at school.
"So tell me, how'd you end up here in Atlanta" jay said
"After sophomore year ended my uncle passed away out here in Atlanta and in his will he left my mom his old rental property in buckhead. My mom got a new job and we've been here ever since."
"If it's not much trouble asking, whatever happened to your father?" Jay asked in concern
"I ain't get a chance to see him growing up to know who he was I only know the stories my mom would tell me about him."
I noticed jay starting to space out listening to what I was saying.
"Jay, you good?"
"Yeah yeah I'm good you were saying"
I got up and went to place my hand on jays shoulder
"If you not feeling good about something jus talk...."
"What time is it" jay interjected
"A quarter til 11" I said
"Oh no sir I gotta get going" jay said leaving the room
"Go where?" As I followed
He ignored my question as I saw him packing up a duffel bag
I grabbed his arm as he headed out the door and he turned looking at me with malice in his eyes
