Part Fourteen

Louis walked into the beach house Roza and Madelyn were staying in. He had texted Roza an hour ago telling her to be ready. He was taking her out to a cute little cafe for lunch so they could talk. He saw Madelyn sitting on the couch and she gestured upstairs.

"First room on the right"

Louis made his way upstairs singing, "Rosalie, Roza, Roza, Rosalie"

"One sec Lou" he heard her shout from behind the door.

"Oh, oh, oh. Oh, oh, oh. Be my baby" he sang under his breathe as Roza walked out the door.

Roza smiled at him when she heard the song he was singing.

"You ready?" Roza asked him.

He nodded as he placed a hand on her back leading her downstairs.

"I'll be back later Mads" she said walking towards the door.

"Bye" Mads yelled after them.

Louis lead her out to his rental car and opened the door for her.

"Lou, this isn't a date" she says as she climbs into the car.

"Doesn't mean I can't be a gentleman" He says winking at her

Roza sighs shaking her head but has a smile on her face.

Louis climbs in the driver's side and drives for about ten minutes into town and pulls up to a little cafe with a great view of the ocean. They walk in and through to the back claiming a table on the outdoor patio. They have an unobstructed view of the ocean and the salty sea air whips around their faces. A waitress soon comes to take their order. They both order a simple sandwich and fries with a pop. They make small talk until their food arrives so they won't be interrupted.

"So..." Louis starts, "why haven't you been talking to me for the past month?"

"It's complicated Louis"

"Then un-complicate it"

"Louis,"

"Do you remember what you said the night of my reception? After you found Jay cheating on you?"

"All I remember is breaking down crying. Next thing I know it's morning and I'm back at Harry's"

"Well I found you crying at the end of the hallway. I saw Jay with one of Eleanor's slutty friends and I beat the shit out of him before going to comfort you. You cried your eyes out into my shirt. Just before you fell asleep you...you said..."

"What did I say Louis?" Roza asked getting worried.

"You said you loved me"

Everything Roza had been working towards this past month came crashing down, along with her heart. She was so scared she was going to lose her best friend over this.

"Roza? Is it true?" When Roza didn't answer he continued, "And what I wanted to talk to you about that night was that I could've sworn when the minister asked for any objections you shifted like you were going to, but stopped yourself. Roza please answer me"

"It's true, it's all true" she said quietly a few tears threatening to slip out.

"What?"

"It's true Louis. I love you"

"Why didn't you tell me before"

"I finally was able to push all my feelings down and kind of get over you. But then I got your wedding invite and any hope of us getting together shattered. I can't break up a marriage because of how I feel. Though to be honest Eleanor isn't right for you"
