CHAPTER THREE

One thing's for sure, we can lie about everything but not about what we really feels.

TAHIMIK AKO PAGKAPASOK NAMIN SA LOOB. I can't find perfect words to spill since what he just said caught me off guard. I threw him a gaze and found him staring at me with a hint of smile on his face.

He's just trying to tease me, right? He can't be serious about this I mean, it's pretty obvious that someone like him could never be in love with me. And he told me exactly that he's already into someone and that couldn't be me, or... is it me?

I don't know.

"This way..." He said.

I don't know if it's just me but his voice is full of gentleness. Pagkapasok namin sa loob ng isang silid ay bumungad sa amin ang mga ka-miyembro niya ng banda.

Marco and Mike are fixing something on their instruments while Aya and Nico are laughing as if they're talking something that got their interest.

Bigla silang natahimik at natigil sa mga ginagawa nang makita kaming magkasama ni Chase. Their jaw dropped and I believe that it is because of disbelief and their eyes grew wide.

"W-What the actual fvck?" Marco asked in a low voice. Chase chuckled and raised his middle finger and pointed it to Marco.

"Can we just start instead?" Chase asked as he touched my back and helped me claim one of the monoblock chairs.

"Finally got your balls, bro?" Mike asked with an evil grin on his face.

"Shut up, Mike! I'm just waiting for the right time, and I'll be meeting her parents later, right?" Chase turned his head and look at me, I turned crimson red.

"W-Wala naman tayong u-usapan 'di ba?" I asked, not sure if what's the best words to say.

"Meron na ngayon. Ihahatid kita mamaya sa inyo at gusto kong makilala ang mga magulang mo. Respeto na rin sa kanila na malaman nilang nililigawan ko ang anak nila." Marco whistled and Mike chuckled.

"The fvcker's obviously smitten." Nico said, half-laughing.

"Eh bakit ikaw parang walang balak na makilala sina Mama?" Aya asked, talking to Nico. Nico's face paled and Marco laughed.

"M-Meron naman. N-nahihiya pa kasi ako. A-Atsaka one of these days, ipapa-alam ko sa kanila na g-gusto kitang ligawan." Nico replied.

"Magsimula na nga tayo. Naglolokohan na lang tayo dito eh." Mike said as he burst out laughing. Nico glared at Mike and shook his head.

Agad naman akong lumapit kay Aya at umupo sa tabi niya. She flashed me a smile and winked at me.

"Would you be fine here?" Agad kong nilingon si Chase na nagsalita mula sa likuran ko. Tumango naman ako at ngumiti, "Just tell me if you need something, okay?" Again, I nodded my head.

"Magsisimula na ba tayo? Wala pa sina Loisa." Mike said as he put the microphone in proper.

Nico and Marco must be really rich. I can only imagine how expensive this room is. Kahit sa labas ng bahay ay sumisigaw ang karangyaan.

"Hello!" Bigla kaming napatingin sa bumukas na pinto. Iniluwa nito si Loisa, nasa likod naman niya ang lima pang babae na kasama niya.

"Hey," Ngumiti si Marco, "Umupo na kayo, magsisimula na." Agad namang naglakad sa direksiyon namin ni Aya ang anim na babae at umupo sa tabi namin.

Loisa sat beside me and flashed me a smile. I smiled in return since she really looks friendly.

"Loisa," Pakilala niya at agad na iniabot ang kanang kamay. Agad ko naman itong tinanggap at ngumiti.
