It's almost over, but it needs some love.^_^
Here we go!
Growing up, I always wanted to be a detective.
Stories like Nate the Great and A topic Z Mysteries inspired me to do so and I prayed to the God I believe in every night and day.
My parents even got me a magnifying glass and detective outfit on my eighth birthday so I could pursue my 'detective dreams'.
As I grew up, I moved on from the stories and began to watch shows like Sherlock, NCIS, Bones and any other shows that had to do with being a detective.
I always convinced myself that I knew how to solve a mystery.
That is...
Until I found out that the Robinson family is hiding something.
They never hid anything from me.
I knew everything that is to know about Gerald, Kirstie, and Mitch yet they are hiding this one thing from me and it's killing me.
What could it be?
Even when I couldn't find out a secret they had, Mitch always told me because I asked if he could. His childish mindset always gave me the answers I wanted. That might seem like I'm taking advantage of his mind, but I'm really not.
Am I?
I hope not.
I was thinking this as I walked over to the Robinson house, whistling to myself as I saw Kirstie and Mitch walking out. They were both laughing , their arms linked together as they walked to Kirstie's car. As I got closer, I saw that tears of laughter were welling up in Mitch's eyes and I couldn't help but laugh myself.
Until I saw what was on Mitch's cheeks.
When I got even closer, I saw tears and a black substance on his rosy cheeks. That meant only one thing.
Mitch is wearing...
"Oh, Mimi. Your mascara is ruined," Kirstie commented sadly, giggles still shaking her petite body. She took out a makeup wipe, handing it over to her younger brother as she smiled up at me. "Look at what the cat dragged in!"
"Wyatt can't drag Scott. Scott has too many muscles," Mitch pointed out, giggling some more. He wiped through mascara gently, smiling the biggest smile he could manage. "Hi, Scott-Scott. How are you today?"
I meant to say one thing, but I said the other.
"Why are you wearing mascara, silly? Makeup is for girls."
Mitch frowned, opening his jaw to argue but closed it quickly when Kirstie glared at me. She sighed heavily, shaking her head before she unlocked her car.
"We're going to the mall. Hopefully on the way there, you'll realize how heteronormative your statement is. Come on, Mimi. Let's go."
Mitch nodded, hopping in the back as I sat in front. Kirstie started her car and Hamilton started to play from the speakers. Guns and Ships started to play and Mitch tried to rap along with Lafayette, giggling when he couldn't say half the words. Kirstie laughed too, sighing as she looked at her younger brother.
