You will know it wasn't meant to be if you could just walk out and never look back.

Maybe they weren't meant to be for me. They are meant for someone else and I am meant for someone better.

That's why we didn't last till now.

I picked up my sling bag and march to the hallway.

For the last time I glanced at the deserted room which happens to be my favorite place in our school. This is where I usually sit and think about a lot of things. This is where I cried my heart out. This is my comforting place. I will never forget this.

3 days from now we will soon end our college days.

As I was walking alone in the hallway memories go flashing back like pieces of paper taping back together. From my first heartbreak to the times I was happy.

When I arrived at the intersection a usual figure and scent of manly perfume greeted me. A smile curved at my lips upon seeing him again after a long time. I smiled at him and I also glance and gave my sincerest and genuine smile to the girl beside her who is beyond lucky to have him. Me and Mr. Pres? We didn't end up together. He is now happy with Alessia. They were good together. I'm glad they end up together. They are called A+ couples because they are both smart and graduated with honors. Isn't it perfect? I envy them in a positive way.

"Congratulation, Casey. Happy Graduation!"He exclaimed. I nodded and thanked them. They are heading to the dean's office so I excused myself and continued to my journey.

As I was passing the school canteen, I almost bumped at someone who is rushing. He didn't notice me not until he met my gaze. It's been a long time since our paths has ever crossed again. It's been a long time because I don't feel the same excitement anymore.

"Hey, Casey! Sorry I didn't see you there. Wow! It's been a long time. You look more beautiful." I laughed with sarcasm. He still didn't change huh.

"Yeah right haha!"

"I'm serious. You look stunning. So, wanna hang out tonight?"

I smiled a half laughing one. Why now? Haha!

"You serious?"

"Yeah."

"Why, did you and your girlfriend broke up?"

"Yup. Misunderstanding."

"More likely, you found someone new and interesting again so you left her again for someone new."

"Nope. You're wrong. You see I realized I still love you."

"Haha! You never did change. Still a womanizer. You left Cyril again like what you did to me."

"Haha! Nope."

I was about to answer him when someone from behind me spoke.

"You have a problem with my girlfriend,dude?"

He was left dumbfounded upon seeing my soon to be husband or should I say fiance.

"Sorry not sorry but I've move forward. I'm over you. Thanks for breaking my heart it made me stronger and also it taught me to choose wisely. So, this it. Good bye!"

I waved at him before we left him dumbfounded at his post. Well everything happened for a reason. People comes and go. That's the reality but what matters the most is that what is for you will be for you and what isn't for you will never stay. Don't ever give up on life just keep moving forward.

We are too young to stress about something that isn't permanent. Even pain nor heartbreak isn't permanent it will soon end. Know what you deserve. Everyone of us deserves the best.

Never make yourself an option or a fall back. You are too precious remember that.
