Chapter 2~
"Ha! Look who's late now!" Lucy shouts at Natsu as he walks over to the table she's sitting at.
"Neither of us. I'm right on time." He smugly responds.
"Actually, Mr. Cocky, you're three minutes late." Lucy smirks.
"By what clock?" He asks her.
"All of them."
"Bullshit." He grins.
"Whatever." Lucy shrugs, happy that she was early today.
"Hey, Luce. Guess what tomorrow is." Natsu smiles, walking beside her.
"Hm." She thinks, slowly tapping her chin with her index finger.
"Oh, c'mon..." Natsu frowns.
"Ah! That's right! It's Happy's birthday tomorrow!" She snaps her finger at her realization.
"Lucy.." Natsu growls.
"I'm just kidding, Natsu. I know, it's your birthday tomorrow, I'm not gonna forget." She tells him, lightly shoving his side.
"You better not." He grumbles.
"Hey!" She shouts, hitting his shoulder.
"Lucy?" Mira asks, stopping before she was to walk past the two.
"Yeah, Mira?"
"Can I talk to you really fast?" She asks, looking back between her and Natsu.
"Something wrong?" He asks, slightly worried.
"Lady problems." She says without hesitation. "I need advise from Lucy about something regarding blood clots and my uterus-"
"Okay, wow! Umm... I really didn't need to know that." He cuts her off. "By all means, take her." He lightly pushes Lucy towards Mira by the small of her back, turning away from the two to go talk to Gray.
"What was that about?" Lucy asks, confused, raising an eyebrow.
"I needed to make sure that he wouldn't listen." She shrugs.
"Okay, but, really?" Lucy asks.
"I have no shame." Mira mumbles, quickly shaking her head to remind herself to get back onto topic. "What are you doing with Natsu?"
"What do you mean?"
"I told you to stay away from him, Lucy. It's not safe to be around him right now."
"See, you told me that... But I saw him yesterday and he seemed just find." Lucy shrugs.
"You saw him yesterday?" Mira asks.
"Yeah."
"Lucy. Listen to me. It is not safe to be near Natsu right now. You need to go home, and make sure that you don't let him in."
"I don't understand what you're talking about, Mira. Everyone else is around him." She sighs.
"You're the only one who's in danger." She whisper yells at her, pulling her slightly farther away from their rowdy group of friends.
"What the hell are you talking about?" Lucy asks, getting slightly annoyed that Mira won't just tell her what's wrong.
"Lucy, I need you to listen very carefully to me." She mumbles.
"Every Dragon Slayer goes through the same thing on their 20th birthday..." Mira tells her. "It's called the Dragon Slayer mating season."
