"This is a miracle..."

"Sir... She's...alive..." One of the nurse said.

"What kind of magic is this...?" One of the surgeon said.

Jiyeon opened her eyes slowly. "Sir...! Her eyes are opened!"

The doctor took a quick look at Jiyeon. "Are you ok, miss?"

She looked at them and at the whole place. "Where am I? How did I get here?"

"Do you remember anything?" The doctor asked.

Jiyeon looked down. "My name is Byun Jiyeon. My dad died from those killers. Those killers killed my parents. I got my revenge and sent them all to death or they might've ended up at the police station, never going free for their life until they die. I have no one besides the shadows. I remembered being adopted by a b*tchy ass family." She said to the doctor.

"Anything else? Friends??" He asked.

"Ah... I also remember transferring to a different school. My only friend was Chaerin but since I've transferred to a new school, I don't have any friends. I've been bullied there but it's fine..." I replied to his question.

"Do you remember anything else...? Like a relative or your parents' friends?"

I thought for a moment. "Nope... My parents never told me anything about their friends. They just work..." Jiyeon said with a straight face.

"Something's not right..." The doctor said. They x-rayed her and looked through the pictures. "Sir... I think she lost most of her memories. The only memories kept inside of her are dark memories, of loved ones death and darkness filled inside of her. There's no happiness or any happy memorable moments in her brain." The nurse said.

*JIYEON POV*

He looked at me. "How about I send you to the US for a couple of years and see how everything will turn out when you come back...?" He asked.

I looked at him. "How many years..." I said with no emotions, just a blank face.

He sighed. "Probably 4 to 5 years then you'll come back. I know a family over there, they're my friends and are nice people. You can live with them until it's your time to come back. I promise they'll treat you like you're their daughter." He gave me a warm smile. I had no choice but to accept it.

Today will be the day where I'll be going to the US. I packed all my clothes and all my needs. The doctor sent me to the airport. When we got there, I bowed my head down. "Thank you, Mr. Kim(doctor)..." I walked to my lane, waiting to enter the airplane, which would be heading to the United States.

Finally here! I walked out of the plane, to the airport. Yep... I saw my name. On a gigantic postcard with hearts decoration and more decorations on it. I walked to that person. "Are you the one, Mr. Kim (doctor) has been talking about?" I asked him. He nodded his head. "Yes I am. And you must be Byun Jiyeon. To introduce myself, I am the CEO of TechnologY Company, Mr. Kang, or my full name, which is Kang Shin."

I bowed my head down. "Nice to meet you, Mr. Kang Shin."

He droved me to his house, which would be my new house very soon until I go back to Korea. I'll have to attend school here, but it's ok because I've been learning English in 1st grade so I'm pretty fluent in English. Nothing to worry about.

When we got there, I was not that surprised but at the same time, I wanted to open my mouth and scream. This house is some kind of mansion or something!! SO BIG AND HUMONGOUS!!! I followed him inside and sat on the couch.

"Are you Byun Jiyeon?" A voice said. I looked up and see a boy, who made his way to the couch and sat on the couch across from me. "Huh...?" I asked, sounding stupid.

"Are you Byun Jiyeon?" He repeated his words again. I nod my head. "That's me..."

He smiled. "Time to introduce myself. Hello there beautiful! I am Kang Chanhee!!" He held his hand up, waiting for a high five.

I looked at him without any expression. I could tell that he was impatient because I wasn't giving him a handshake. Suddenly, a question just burst out of my mouth. "Are you some kind of flirt or something..." Although I knew what I had done, I didn't really care about it that much.

He looked at me weirdly and shocked. "What are you talking about?! Flirt? Yah... Do you know that my dad is the CEO of TechnologY Company?!"

"So...?" Ok.. Now, I was acting like a total jerk.

It was quiet for a moment until that Chanhee boy broke the silence. "Have you ever loved someone?" He asked.

"Huh?!" I asked in shock.

"I asked you, 'have you ever loved someone' before." He repeated.

I looked down at the floor and whispered. "Love...someone...? ...Love...?"

"Have I ever loved someone before? If I had, who did I love...? Besides my relatives... Who..." I asked myself, inside my head.
