Realizing that our hand shake was a little extensive, I jerk my hand away.
A little embarassed I say "umm see you around" and I start to walk away stil in search for Ryan.
*3 hours later*
The party starts to die down and the crowd thins, but still no sign of Ryan.
And I still smell like beer.
I feel a poke on my shoulder, I quickly turn around to find Ian.
"what?" I say annoyed
"Ooo fiesty"
"What are you still doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing." he says.
"My friend ditched me, I have no ride home, what are you doing here?"
"I live here. So you need a ride?"
"No that's ok." I say
"Yes you do."
"My mother says don't get into a car with a stranger" I say snotily
"I'm no stranger, Jordan" he said dragging out the "dan" in my name.
"I only know your name."
"Sometimes a name is all you need." He says mysteriously.
I hesitantly accept his offer.
It was a short ride home but uncomfortably silent.
When I finally get home, i say thanks.
" it's the least a perv can do for a violated lady"
I roll my eyes and hop out of the car hoping not to get caught by my parents.I climb up the tree to my window and wave goodbye to the stranger.
