The Christmas story

T-was the night before Christmas and all through the house not a creature was stirring not even a mouse, but Matt an ordinary 8 year old was quietly but quickly running down the stairs. He hid behind the couch waiting for Santa to come down his chimney. Matt heard stomping, thumping and loud bangs on the roof, He knew at that moment Santa had arrived at his house, But then Matt heard a thump but it did not sound normal. So Matt ran outside of his house and saw Santa in a pile of snow. Matt thought Santa was dead, So he grabbed his ladder that was next to the garage and set it up next to the window. Matt climbed up the ladder and walked to the sleigh where all of Santa's reindeer were. He climbed in the sleigh and called out "ON DASHER ON DANCER ON PRANCER AND VIXEN, ON COMET ON CUPID AND DONNER AND BLITZEN  DASH AWAY DASH AWAY DASH AWAY ALL!!" While Matt was flying the sleigh he had thought he would lose control but it was like he was a pro. When he got to the north pole he told the head elf what had happened. So they flew back to Matt's house and rescued Santa. But then Matt realised Santa wasn't dead he was just sleeping. When Matt walked into his house he realised his mum and dad were elves Matt was wondering what was going on, So Santa explained everything that he was Santa's son. That's why he was flying the sleigh and not crashing into things. So Santa took Matt back to the north pole. It turns out Matt wasn't an ordinary 8 year old after all.
