Ty grabbed my tanktop off the floor and helped me put it back on. He fixed the strap and plopped me on my feet. We scurried out the door and followed the co pilot. He held my hand tightly, but gently so I wouldn't fall.

When we got over to the cockpit the pilot explained to us that it was going to start hailing very badly any minute now and that our one engine is close to giving out. The jet had two engines so if the one gave out it could still rely on the other to get us to a safe landing spot. Ty and I prayed that God would protect us during the storm.

After praying we found out that the storm came a little earlier than we expected and the hail was ridiculous. I looked out the window and saw softball sized hail coming down on us very hard from above. I immediately closed the shade and clinged onto Ty. My grasp was so hard and I started to shed a tear. I didn't want to die nor did I want the love of my life to either.

The co pilot came rushing out the cockpit and said that our one engine gave out because a huge ice pellet got stuck in it. All of a sudden there was a sound-breaking boom. Everyone was panicking. I smelt the wreak of something burning. The co pilot looked out the window and saw flames crackling and burning up the one end of the jet. The rain didn't help - it just made it worse.

"Holy shit! We need to get out of here!!!" Ty screamed.

He grabbed me tight and the co pilot said we need to evacuate the jet ASAP.

We didn't have time to get our stuff. Ty hooked me onto the parachute with him and the inflatable raft on our side. The flames were getting closer and closer!

I could feel the heat coming towards me. The co pilot opened the side of the jet so we could jump.

I looked below me and saw hell.

I hesitated to move on.

I was zoned out in the moment, almost as if I was caught in time. Almost as if everything paused but me. I gazed around.

I saw a black pit.

I saw a deep and dark place.

I saw rugged waves.

I saw boulders of ice breaking into the layers of water.

"Plop."

I saw torture coming our way.

Then... in the back of my head all I heard was "Jump! Jump! Goo!!" ...It was all coming back to me in slow motion. It became reality..

Ty was screaming for me to jump. I turned my head and saw the melting flames behind me.

There was a hand from behind the burning fire that pushed Ty and I off the jet. Into the open. Just me, Ty, a parachute, and a raft. Nothing else.
