Manik was sleeping completely on Nandini. At around 3 am Nandini started feeling hot n her sleep broke. Soon she realized that Manik was getting his fever back so with great difficulty she moved Manik from her n checked his temperature which showed 103 degree
Making him sleep comfortably Nandini came out in kitchen n was preparing for cold water wen navya entered in to get milk for aarav
Seeing Nandini was there navya asked her
Na-tum kyu Uth gayi
Nan-Manik ko firse bukhar aaya hai
Na-hey matarani ruko hum sab ko bola kr laate hai
Before she could move Nandini held her hand stopping her n said
Nan-zarurat nhi hai Mei Sambhal lungi tum kisi se kuch mat kehna
Navya had to agree to her n both left to their respective rooms. Nandini came to manik's room n sat beside sleeping Manik in fever
Adjusting herself Nandini started placing the cold strips on his head so that his fever gets reduced. Around 45 mins later Manik woke up n his fever too was reduced a lil. Looking at Nandini as he woke up Manik softly called her
Ma-Nandini
Nandini was very attentive towards Manik only n saw him waking up n calling him. As she heard her name from him she leaned lil near him placing her left hand on his gently
Manik softly said
Ma-bhuk lagi hai
Nandini rubbed her thumb around his cheek n than said
Nan-tum betho I will get something to eat for you
Saying this she got down n came in kitchen. Looking for something to eat for Manik bt nothing was there so she made some thing light n quick for him n came back to him
Cmg in she made Manik sit n than gave him water to clean his mouth n than feeded him. Only 2-3 morsels were left wen Manik stopped eating saying that he was full bt Nandini requested him to finish it as only 2-3 bites are left n he had it
Keeping everything aside Manik slept on Nandini again while Nandini was caressing his hair to make him sleep.
