Everyday feels like a dream to Vik. He's so happy Harry believes in him. They sit there and talk to each other about anything and everything. Harry will ask a question to the empty room and wait pretending that Vik is answering - which actually is. It's almost as if they exist on the same universal plain.
Vik is no longer a nonexistent ghost; He's a real person.
Vik's job has become more than just to heal Harry. He must protect him of his fears in the night. He must care for him with passion. He must make him feel safe and not alone in this stale room.
Vik has already promised Harry that he, Harry, will be freed from the chains of tubes and hospital blankets. Harry will soon return to the rest of the world.
As long as the doctors don't think Harry has gone mental and must be sent to a psychiatric ward. Vik reminded him to keep their friendship on the down low after that last exchange.
Vik waits impatiently for JJ to arrive. He has big plans for tonight's dream. He was over the moon when Harry said Vik is the type of person he wants to marry. Which Vik saw as Harry basically proposing to him.
So tonight, Vik wants to wed Harry.
"You want to what?!" JJ couldn't believe what he just heard.
"I'm going to marry him." Vik repeats.
"No! That's a terrible idea. I thought you were smarter than this, Vik." JJ shakes his head.
"What? It's just a dream." Vik shrugs.
"Well yeah but you just shouldn't get attached. It's not wise, you're going to leave him one day. Remember?"
Vik wasn't listening.
"Look at him, JJ." Vik stares down at the Harry. "He's so peaceful. Like sleeping beauty." Vik admired his feminine facial features, his sunshine hair and sky blue eyes. He looks up at his friend.
"We need each other, JJ."
"I knew I shouldn't have gotten involved in this. First I have to look after Simon and now you?" JJ mutters in an irritated fashion. The glimmer in his starry eyes fades a bit.
"What's up with, Simon?" Vik hasn't heard that name in a long time.
"Nothing, you both just make bad choices." JJ looks away. He's disappointed in Vik. "You said you wouldn't introduce yourself and instead you two are going to be 'husbands'. You're really pushing the boundaries here."
"Are you gonna put me in the dream or what?" Vik hisses.
"I don't want to but sure. If you want." He unwillingly transferred Vik in Harry's mindscape. At this point, JJ saw it more as Vik's problem than his. Vik will have to face the consequences of his actions on his own. The cinnamon boy scans the area for his pale angel.
"Harry!"
"Vik!"
They run into each other's arms. Vik wastes no time with his plan. He must do so before Harry wakes up which could be any minute.
"Will you marry me, Harry?"
"...yes!"

Josh strolls down the back road of his dorm complex. He whistles and listens to it echo throughout the air. Simon walks next to him silently and replies to all the whistles as if they are birds talking to one another. A ring of purple lilacs sit on Simon's head. He wore a dark colored pants with an oversized red shirt.Simon, who never runs out of energy, easily becomes bored and begins jumping up and down. He skips around Josh whilst they continue down the trail.
"What are you doing?" Josh wonders. A smile creeps up on him. It bothers him a bit. He can't stop doing so around the precious child.
"Jumping!" Simon does a twirl midair. "Leaping!" He does a baby spilt. "Having fun!"
"You keep doing you kid."
"Okie dokie, easy for me." Simon chirps. Simon looks back at Josh who is watching him happily. "Josh."
"Hm?"
"Thank you for being my friend. You're a very good one." Simon compliments. Josh almost blushes. "Maybe even better than, JJ." he grins slyly.
"Don't tell him that. He'll hunt me down." Josh chuckles. "And Simon, you're still super pesky." he teases.
"And you're still a weird loner." Simon jokingly insults.
"Hey! You take that back!" Josh warns. He swiftly steals Simon's crown. "Apologize or you're not getting this back."
"Never." He narrows his eyes, accepting a challenge. He tries to take back his accessory but Josh darts away.
Simon chases him into the dark forest. The sun quickly disappears behind the tree tops. The warmth subsides with it leaving cool air to brush against their skin while they weave through trees. Mist makes it hard to see. Josh runs over the path not caring if he leaves it behind. Simon follows him deeper into the mysterious forest.
Josh slides down a hill and finds himself out of breath. He leaps up and hangs the flower crown on a branch. Simon, however, is still running full speed and crashes into Josh, slamming their bodies against the large tree.
They fall to the ground, injury free. The younger lay on top of the older. He pushes himself up so he's straddling the darker haired boy. They both burst out into laughter and giggles.
Simon is surprised.
"Josh... You're laughing! I've never heard you do so before. Yet I just got you to!" Simon is amazed. Josh isn't one to laugh. He never has all his life.
Josh realizes what he's doing. He's never even heard himself laugh besides a sarcastic snicker. The action feels uncomfortable and it hurts his mouth. The sound is unrecognizable and irritating. He can't believe he just laughed. What has he become?
Simon is still smiling down at his friend but Josh's smile fades rather fast. He pushes Simon off of him. Simon grunts, as he hits the dirt hard. Josh used to push him away much more often in the past so this isn't new to Simon but still, it hasn't happened in quite sometime.
Josh stands up and brushes off the dirt without saying a word. He storms off.
"Wait for me, Josh!" Simon jumps up to grab his flower crown before running after the angered boy. "Is everything okay?" Josh doesn't respond in any sort of way. "C'mon now. Don't be a droopy plant."
Josh continues to stomp ahead. He has a very pissed face.
"It's okay if you laugh." Simon reassures. It helped before when Josh first smiled.
"I wasn't laughing." Josh denies.
"Sure you weren't. It doesn't mean-" Simon gently set a hand on Josh's shoulder but Josh smacks it away like a fly.
"Don't touch me freak." Josh snaps. Simon feels his heart sink. He hates seeing Josh in such a rotten mood.
"I did something wrong didn't I? Why are you in a funk?" Simon frowns.
"Stop talking it's annoying."
And with that his mouth zips shut. He only murmurs to himself,
"Sorry Josh."
