Chapter 4: Theirs

"Sapphire please try to understand our situation here" Michael pleaded.

"What's there to understand Michael?? Are you ashamed of me? Am I not classy enough? Or is it that you guys have someone else that's why you don't want to be seen with me??! Every time! every fucking time I ask you to meet up for lunch or dinner you guys always seem to find an excuse! You don't want me to talk to my friends about you! What kind of a relationship is this??What do you call this??"
By now I was a mess. I couldn't hold my tears anymore.

"Baby-" Franco was about to hug me but I took a step back and raised my hand to stop him.

"DONT YOU BABY ME! You guys obviously don't want me in your life. I was so stupid to even think you'd like someone like me.." I fell on my knees sobbing.

Michael came and knelt in front of me and took my face in his hands
"Hey.. hey,look at me"

me being stubborn I kept my eyes down

He begged
"Please don't cry"
he kissed both my eyes and my cheeks "we don't like you" my heart stopped
"we are madly in love with you sapphire,you should know that. Don't ever think otherwise. We love you and we want you,not Amanda not grace or any other woman who isn't you.. You're our woman,ours and we would do anything for you Sapphire.."

Franco who was standing behind Michael came and sat beside me and took my hand in his
"You know how our family is well known,we don't want a scandal that could ruin what our family has built over the years.. Just give us time baby"

"I understand,I completely understand.. But we are in 2017,people are open minded. They will understand what we have I know they will,just give it a chance please?" I begged.

"Sapphire.. People are still judgemental,be 2017 or 3001. It's how we are. But we don't care about what people think,we care about you love. The paparazzi won't let you be in peace and we need to protect our company also. The other companies might use this against us,please baby" Michael tried to reason out.

How the hell did I end up in this situation?
Is this how it's gonna be?
For how long then?
I'm so in love with them that I'd jump off a bridge for them. If this was the price I have to pay to be with my twins then I'm all out.

I was currently sitting by the counter with my drink waiting for the love birds to show up. They were 10 minutes late. In those minutes I had to endure the horny bartender that kept hitting on me. The stupid guy didn't even take the hint!

I looked at my watch and decided to give them 5 more minutes. If they are not here by then I'm out.
Just then I noticed 2 girls heading my way-Suzan and Carol.

"Well hello there hot cake!" Suzan greeted me with a tight hug and a kiss.

"You're late"

"I'm sorry babe,it's Carol's fault!"

I looked over at Carol who was blushing furiously. She was in a red strapless dress that reached her mid thighs. Her hair was in a messy bun and some black heels. She looked stunning.
