I got to the airport about 2 hours before the plane took off. My mom guided me through the crowd and towards where I needed to be. We reached the part where my mom and sister weren't aloud to go.
My mom looked sad but I knew she was happy for me. She knew how passionate I was about dance and how much this opportunity meant to me. She wrapped me in a tight hug before stepping back.
"I'm so proud of you Cassidy, I love you so much and I'm going to miss you loads." She was a little emotional but I really didn't mind. "Please keep in touch"
"You know I will mum, I love you too. I'm gonna miss your home cooked meals when I'm gone." She smiled.
My sister hugged me quickly. I knew she was eventually going to miss me but not as much as my mom. "I'll miss you Cassidy."
"I'll miss you too Caitlyn."
It wasn't much on her part but it was enough. I gave my mom one last hug and waved to my sister before I walked away. I went in search of my gate when I got a text.
Don't forget to tell me who you might be touring with ;)
~Caitlyn
I laughed a bit and didn't feel the need to reply. I'd let her know alright and maybe make her a bit jealous. I'd get her tickets to the show when we stopped off back home if I did end up going on tour.
We began boarding soon after I got to the gate. When the employee told me that I would be flying first class, I stared at her a little confused. Then the thought crossed my mind that Mr. Braun had told me I'd get a few perks.
The captain's voice filled the plane as he told us we'd arrive in about 2 ½ hours. I started playing my music again and relaxed into the seat. I shuffled all my songs settling with The Fray. The song was soon replaced by Justin Bieber. I skipped it replacing it with Young The Giant.
The only reason Justin Bieber had wound up on my phone was because of my sister who was a big fan. I, personally, didn't mind him. He seemed like a decent guy but you can never be sure. Since I didn't know him personally I wasn't one to judge. One thing was for sure; he loved his fans and did everything he could to show it.

We finally landed so I stretched my legs and walked off the plane. I went to baggage claim and had to wait 20 minutes before getting my luggage. Once I had my luggage in my possession, I went outside in search of a cab.
What I didn't expect was for there to be a man in a suit holding a card with my name written on it. I walked over to him and told him who I was, to confirm that I was truly who I said I was, I had to show ID. Once he was certain it was in fact me, he helped me with my bags and brought me over to a limo. It was just a plain black limo; I also noticed that there were about 30 others limos outside.
"Miss Chambers, it will be about an hour before we arrive at your destination." The driver spoke politely.
"Thank you."
I pulled out my book once more and kept reading. The writing was really good, not too complex to the point where you didn't understand anything, but not too simple so that you understood too easily and get bored quickly.
I wanted to admire the scenery so I set my book on my lap and watched as things went by. The view was really breathtaking... there was so much to admire; the scenery was beautiful. I couldn't believe I've never been to LA before.

An arena came into view and soon the car rolled to a stop. I got out the car once my door swung open and my gazed shifted to the large arena towering above my head. I seemed to be on my own at this point so I took my small bag and made my way into the arena.
Finding the stage wasn't too hard since the music could be heard from outside. It wasn't too loud but it was enough to be heard easily. I set my bag on one of the chairs in front of the stage and walked up the stairs leading to the stage. u
Everyone wore sweatpants and tank tops. I guess I had dressed right for the occasion. I began stretching as someone stepped onto the stage and went to stand in the center of it.
"I'm Maggie. I'll be your choreographer for this tour."
A bunch of 'Hello Maggies' went around and few smiles and nods too. I said hello and waited for her to continue.
"As you all know, these are merely auditions. There is absolutely no guarantee that you will indeed go on tour. We have to narrow it down to 20 people; 10 girls, 10 guys. The best will be going on tour and the rest must sadly head home." A few people shifted uncomfortably at the mention of how little of us would be going on tour. "Rules will be review as we narrow down to our top 30. Alright! Let's get to it!"
She told us to get into 4 rows. I fell into the 2nd one. She did some simple footwork and we repeated them easily. As the time went on, the difficulty of the footwork increased. Some of us did them with ease, others not so much. Some people struggled with the difficulty near the end.
This tour was a big deal considering it was only our first day and already it was pretty difficult. We were sent home a few hours later and so I followed the stream of people going towards the exit.
I soon found my driver outside waiting for me. I smiled at him and got into the limo. The other dancers looked at me and I then noticed I was the only one with a limo. I remember that Mr. Braun said I'd have a few perks that others wouldn't I guess the limo qualified as one.
A few of them seemed a little curious as to why I got a limo and they didn't. Others just shrugged it off and carried on what they were doing.

The driver pulled up to a rather fancy hotel. Considering I had taken no part in planning this trip, it seemed like this would be yet another perk. I got out of the car and stood at the entrance.
"Your bags have already been brought to your room." He handed me a key card with a number on a sticky note attached to it, indicating my room number. "I'll see you at 7am to pick you up for rehearsals tomorrow morning. Goodnight Miss Chambers."
"Thank you for everything. And please call me Cassidy." I shot him a small smile. As I walked away, I forgot that I didn't even know his name. "Um, I don't think I know your name..."
"It's Thomas, Thomas Hanks." He said smiling.
"Well, thank you Thomas." I then walked into the hotel and into the elevator.
At this point, I was so tired. I didn't want to think, move or breathe. I just wanted to lie on the hotel bed and fall asleep. The elevator chimed signaling the arrival on my floor. I trudged out into the hallway and to my room. It was the last room and to my surprise, seemed like one of the two larger ones.
I set my bag on the floor, grabbed pajamas and my tooth brush and walked into the en suite bathroom. I changed and brushed my teeth. I then made my way to the king bed and slipped under the covers. I fell asleep instantaneously.
At around 3 in the morning, a door shut rather loudly. I groaned, annoyed at whoever woke me up. Muffled voices could be heard and I put a pillow over my head in an attempt to block out the voices. I eventually went back to sleep once a door slammed for a second time.
