ORDINARY (Hayes Grier FanFic)

CHAPTER 2

*JESSICA'S POV*

The look on my face was probably hideous.

"Um hi, uh come in" I said weakly.

I was pretty sure Hayes had no idea I existed. He was super popular and I literally had no friends.

"Well this blows" Hayes said, and then sighed.

I couldn't tell if he was talking about hanging out with me or having to come to the party.

"Tell me about it." I replied, trying not to sound like a complete idiot.

There was a minute or two of silence between us until Hayes broke the ice.

"So why is Drew even having this party?"

"I really don't know, I think he just wants to get drunk." as soon as I said that I regretted it. What if he told Drew, gosh Jess nice one.

He giggled a bit. "Yeah probably."

"Um so since we're both stuck up here what do you want to do?" He said, not even looking up.

"Um I don't know you can do whatever, it doesn't matter to me." I replied with just about no enthusiasm.

"Whoa don't get too excited there Jess." he laughed.

I laughed back.

He knew my name?! I was sure he had no idea who I was...

"Can I ask you something?" he said, a little shy idiot might say.

"Sure go for it." I looked up to his deep blue eyes looking right at me. In this moment I realized how attractive Hayes Grier really was. I smiled.

"Do you hate me?" he asked.

At this point I was a bit taken back. Why would I hate him? If anything he hated me.

"What? No, why would I?" I replied a bit worried.

And in that moment everything changed. The mood changed, Hayes changed, even I changed.

He walked over to wear I was leaning up against my wall. He put his soft, soft hands on my cheek. Then he kissed me.

Hayes Grier kissed me.
