Mark held Lucky closer as she tossed in his lap, causing the blanket to fall off of her, which Mark picked up and put back over her. Ki had run to the store to get Lucky her favorite things.

-Cookies and Cream Ice Cream

-Huge Stuffed Animals

-Pizza

-Left 4 Dead

-Five Night's at Freddy's

This was Ki's shopping list.

While Ki did all of this, Mark stayed home and watched over Lucky. Lucky hadn't done anything since she had, basically, knocked herself out. A few times she would start crying and scream Jack's name in fear that this was really happening. When she did, it scared the crap out of Mark, but her held her and kissed her forehead in attempt to make her nightmares pass.

When Ki came back from shopping, Mark still had his arms around Lucky and his head was over hers. Ki came over and crouched next to Lucky and smoothed her hand over Lucky's head. Lucky didn't move. Mark pressed his ear against her chest and gave out a sigh of relief.

"Has she woken up at all?"
"Nope. Just terrifying screams. Ki, when she wakes up... She's gonna realize it wasn't a nightmare."

Ki looked at Mark and then at Lucky.

"Who was she screaming for?"
"The douche that hurt her so bad. If her nightmares are that bad... Reality is going to hit her like a semi-truck." Mark kissed Lucky's forehead again and looked at her pale face.

"I'm so scared of what's going to happen after we leave, Ki."

"Who ever said we were leaving her alone? If we do she'll end up either dead because of a broken heart or worse," Ki turned around to face Mark. "We are not leaving her alone."

Mark nodded in agreement and laid Lucky on the couch and stood up. When Mark did this, Lucky's eyes opened just the smallest bit and she covered her eyes with her hands and started to cry.

"Lucky?" Ki walked up to her and sat beside her on the floor. Ki pulled her off the couch and into her lap and looked down at her.

"Is it true?..." Lucky uncovered her face and looked at Ki. Her face had no color. Her lips were pale and her cheeks had no pink in them.

"Is what true, Lucky?" Mark and Ki looked at each other then at Lucky.

"Is it true Jack hates me and is cozy with Jay?..." Ki could see Lucky's eyes filling with tears.

Ki looked over at Mark, in search for an answer, but didn't get one.

"Let's not worry about that right now. Let's play Left 4 Dead and eat some pizza. Let's worry about that later." Ki smiled at her and sat her up.

Lucky looked at Mark, confused, but when he grabbed an Xbox controller and put Left 4 Dead in, she knew Ki was right.

Mark went in the kitchen and got the pizza and ice cream along with a huge pink bear Ki had gotten her.

It was only 2:15 p.m. Tomorrow is Tuesday, and Lucky couldn't skip school like she had today. She will have to face what's happening. Lucky will have to face her nightmares that are haunting her head and see what's going on in her reality.

Her 18th birthday was in six days. She was turning 18 with or without Jack.
