She never thought that, she would be the one standing here cheering on her dad. Every Sunday there is dices (or you may know it as street racing) that they would go to and watch, and her dad would be racing as well. Ever since she moved to live with her dad after she had finished school in 2011, she's been around nothing else but cars and motorbikes, which she didn't mind at all.

The guys racing and working on the cars are almost always good-looking. She always tried to catch at least one of their eyes, but she couldn't, she didn't know how. She also like the smell of a working mechanic, it would give her a certain rush to get behind the wheel. Scared of what her dad would say if she would get behind the wheel and race.

They were at one of the streetraces one night that would change her life forever. She and her dad were very close, almost inseparable, she would hate loosing him.

"Anna are you ready to go? I want to get there before all the good spots are taken."

"Dad I'm almost finished, I just need to brush my hair and tie it up then I'm ready to go." It is all she had left to do before going to the street race. She had a short blue denim jeans on, with a red loose fitting spaghetti strap shirt on with some white pumps. Her long reddish blond hair is too long to keep hanging loose in this heat. She tied it up in a ponytail to keep it out of her neck.

"You know Anna you don't always have to dress nice for every street race we go to." Her dad said looking at her with a sigh.

"Dad, really? What else should I wear in this heat? A long pants with boots and a long sleeve jacket, I don't think so and this dad..." she looked at her clothes thatnshe was wearing. "...are what I wear on a regular basis."

Her dad only shook his head, mentioning to her that to come with him to his car as he got the keys of it from the top of the showcase they had in the living room.

"I know you do, but you always dress nice when we go out of the yard. Here at home ifnwe don't go any where you wear your t-shirts and your short boxers." He said climbing in the driver's side of the car.

"Dad, please, those are my home clothes. I sleep with that clothes most of the time." She climbed in the passenger side, and putting on some music with a great beat to complement the car as they pulled out of the driveway and driving to the street race.

It wasn't a long drive to get to the street race that might start at 17:30. There were cars parked on the side of the road to get a good view of the starting line. The men and boys are talking with each other and their wifes and girlfriends are sitting in the car busy on their phones, looking bored before the race has even started.

The men and guys that are single, all had a drink in their hands busy getting drunk for the race. "These guys shouldn't be drinking like that if they are racing, they will cause an accident before the races even started." Anna said with a disgusted tone.

"Then go to them and ask them if they're racing, I want to see what competition I have for today."

"Are you insane dad? Is that why I always have to come with you to these races?"

"No, it is also a way for you to finally meet someone and try to settle down. All you have to is flash those pretty grey eyes of yours and smile, you will surely buckle their knees." Anna could feel that her dad is trying to set her up with one of the guys at watching the street race.

She knows better, those guys are nothing but trouble and they are the one who always cheats. She didn't want a guy that thinks she's only there to be his trophy girl and nothing else. "You sure have gone totally insane with this, huh? Why do you always think that I want someone? I've told you before I'm not interested in any of these guys, I want to race."

"You are not racing Anna and that's final. I don't want my baby girl get hurt..." He started.

"You don't want me to get hurt? Dad, I'd rather get hurt in a car racing than have my heart broken by one of these idiots, they are nothing but trouble. Give me the keys and I'll show you that I can race and beat their asses at their own game of racing. They chase after girls, I chase after cars. It's just as simple as that." She got out of the car to sit on the bonnet, where she always sits when she watches the race if her dad isn't the one doing the races.

"Your not going to give that up so easy, are you? I will get you a car, but no racing do you hear me, absolutely no racing." He said getting out of the car as well to stand next to Anna.

"What's the point of having a car then if I can't even race. You are no better than the younger guys you race, you only want a trophy daughter. One day dad, one day I will race and make you proud of me racing, I may not be boy but I can still do what boys do. You don't have to keep me locked up like a caged animal in the wild, watching others of their kind doing the things they want to do with their heart and soul. It's really exhausting." Anna said leaning against the windshield of the car.

"Anna, my baby girl, I know you are growing up and want to race, but seeing you behind the wheel of a race car, it will remind me when I lost your mother in a car crash when you were only 6 months old. I don't want to lose you too." He gave her a hug and a kiss on the side of her head.

"I know dad, you've told me lots of times. But I still want to race, no matter what. How do you think I feel every time you are behind the wheel of your are, standing at the starting line reving your car. I also have a heart." Anna felt severely trapped in her own feelings and her dad feelings, she knows why her dad says the things that he says. But coming to the street races and to other races, she been bitten by the racing bug.
