Trust me (Credence x reader!)

Chapter 1: New York

You were on your way to New York with your older brother, Newt Scamander. He was kicked out of Hogwarts for letting out a creature during class time, you were in your 5th year of Hogwarts, that makes you 15 years old. Sweet 16, it's coming up! All of your friends back in London all have boyfriends, they told you that.

"If you turn 16..have a boy friend!"

But you thought it was a bit too young, you wanted to study first then get a boyfriend. Newt enrolled you in a muggle school, he says that the magic school in New York isn't as good as Hogwarts. You were still on the ship, just a few more minutes until you get there.

-Time Skip Y/n's POV-

I got off the ship dragging my luggage, I didn't bring a lot of stuff, just a few clothes. Me and Newt were at the counter with a man.

"Any life stock in there?"

He said while pointing at Newt's suitcase, the lock had flicked open.

"I have to get that fix.."
"Let me check."

Before Newt handed his suitcase, he turned it to 'Muggle Worthy' the man opened up the suitcase..thank god that Newt installed in that flick.

"Welcome to New York."
"Thanks."

Me and Newt were walking around the streets in NY..the place was beautiful! Everyone was all walking around with their loved ones, while im walking with these dude.

"Shall all witches and wizards be banned for internity or we can hunt them down?"

I heard a women speaking, she was joking..right? Witches and Wizards aren't that bad, we are all different. Me and Newt were standing in the crowd.

"You two, have you both come to join the society?"
"U-Uh..we are just walking by."

Then when I realized, that niffler had escaped.

"Excuse me!"

I ran with Newt following the creature, it was flicking coin into its bag, the niffler was going through bags and bags. Grabbing jewelry, coins and mirrors. Newt went one way, and i went the other. Ugh, why does he even keep those things?! It gets so annoying sometimes.

I looked through the counter, looked under the chairs and tables.

"Y/n! I got the Nifflur! Quick!"

I ran to him, but instead i saw him teleported.

"O-Ok then..ditch me."

I rolled my eyes and waited outside.

I heard sounds of alarms and i saw my brother holding onto another man, then the man smacked Newt's face. Jeez.

"Newt are you ok?!"
"Yeah im fine..someone is coming, hold my hand."

He pointed to a girl walking our way. Then suddenly, we were somewhere else.

"Who are you?"

The girl asked while huffing.

"Newt Scamander."
"Y/n Scamander.."
