Chapter 2: drop something?

Y/n POV

A few hours had pass, we were at Tina's house, where i met Queenie and the muggle that was bitten by one of my brothers creatures, Jacob.
I looked around their apartment, everything was neat, all of the decorations were brown and other warm colors. While i was looking around, my stomach growls.

"Oh my..Are you hungry dear?"

All i did was nod, and of course i was hungry..I haven't ate anything yet!

-Time skip-

"This meal..is great!"
"Thanks, but you ate quite a lot, how are you so thin?"

Thin? Im no where near that! (Giving the reader a eating disorder..you'll get the idea later on in this series.)

"I...I haven't eaten a meal like this in a long time.."
"What does your brother make back home?"
"Oh..Newt knows that I don't really like eating, only once in a while i eat-"

Then i was cut off by Queenie standing up and looking at me with an angry look.

"Honey...you've got to eat..or else..you'll be very ill."

She looked at me in the eyes and her face started to soften.

"Now..who's tired?"

My brother and Jacob nodded their heads. I looked at my hands, i am quite the cry baby, i am very sensitive when it comes to these things.

"Y/n..i will bring you hot coco-"
"N-No its fine..may i just go outside for a few minutes, i need fresh air."

Tina looked at me with sadness in her eyes, she looked worried about me. I walked downstairs, as soon as i took a step outside, i saw someone.
It was dark, so i couldn't see much.

"Y-Y/n?"

The voice was familiar, the figure walked to the streets lights. I saw him...Credence. He looks scared.

"Credence w-whats wrong?"

I walked up to him and he took out his hands, i saw scratches and blood. He broke down in tears and i took out my wand. As soon as he saw my wand, his eyes widen.

"Y-Your a witch?"
"Yes, now, let me heal you."

I grabbed his hands carefully and ran my wand over his hands while casting a spell, i looked into his eyes..when i looked carefully, his eyes had a hit of orange to it..it was hypnotic.

"Who did this to you?"
"...M-M-My Ma..she whipped my with my belt."

He said while pointing to his pants, i looked down. I noticed he was wearing any belt. Did he ran away?

"You...ran away?"
"Y-Yes, i came h-here to see y-you."
"Me? You came here to see me?"

I saw his face turn a pink color, he smiled shyly at me. I felt a connection with him.

"Yes, i-i did."

He smiled even wider.

"Did you know that you have a cute smile?"

Oh that came out of no where! Crap! I closed my mouth, i heard him giggle. Is he giggling?
His giggle turn into a laugh, a loud one too.

"You think my s-smile is cute?"
"Y-Yeah.."

I shyly looked away, i felt him getting closer to me.

"You dropped this yesterday."

He handed me a necklace, it had a picture of my mother in it..she died when i was only 7.

"Y/n, i should be going now..see you tomorrow"

He walked away while waving at me. My face was completely red. I decided to go inside, when i went in. Tina was holding hot coco in front of me.

"So..you know that boy?"

She said while handing me the cup.

"Yes, he is my friend."
"He seems more happier with you then anyone else."

I looked at her with a confused face, he is more happier with me?

"He is an adopted child, his mother was a witch. But she died. Now he has been abused by his stepmother."

Tina told me the whole story, my heart broke, tears were falling from my eyes.
