Augusto è la prima figura importante specializzata in Pokémon di tipo Buio all'infuori dei Superquattro.
Dato che ad Alola non ci sono le Palestre ma solo le prove, direi che Augusto è la cosa che più si avvicina ad un Capopalestra Buio, specialmente perché non si può risfidare dopo la seconda lotta nel post-game mentre Hala, Alyxia e Hapi sono risfidabili alla lega (anche se Hapi unicamente come sfidante).
Nanu is the first important character outside of the Elite Four specialized in Dark-type Pokémon.
Since Alola has not any Gym, Nanu is the nearest thing to a Gym Leader we have. A proof could be the fact that outside of the second battle in the post-game, he cannot be rebattled, while Hala, Olivia or Hapu instead can (Despite Hapu being only a challenger and not an Elite Four).
