"we can't keep hiding her ?? They will find out that we have her, they're going to take her from us" my body was pressed up against my bedroom door, I heard my parents talking outside my bedroom, they were talking about me, I know it. I was their only child living in this house with them, I have an older brother but his at the military training for something I was too young to remember any words or see anything.

"how are we going to tell her this" I could hear my eomma calm yet scared voice whispering to my appa, I wanted to know what they were talking about but also scared and anxious for what they would tell me.

"right now isn't the time, with all this government and scientists project J.J.K, you know they need her. But it's better if she knows when she's older" when I'm older? How old do I have to know?

What's so important that my own parents have to hide from me, their own daughter.

PRESENT TIME

"miss Kim, it's an honour to have you here, we look forward seeing your work here and hope we can work together on this project." the burning around my wrist gotten tighter and I'm also sure that the handcuffs around my wrist were beginning to bleed.

Ever since I heard my parents talk at the front of my door that night everything changed, they pulled me out of school, and almost moved away, far away from everyone else. My parents didn't tell me anything, they barely spoke one word to me ever since.

They made me feel like I was nothing, they treated me like I was a ghost, like I wasn't even born. My parents decided it would be best if WE moved to a more isolated, calm place, away from the city into the green land, where no one would find us or be bothered by the noises from the city.

I didn't want any of this

"Follow me to the operation room where you'll mostly spend your time during the duration of your stay." A guard next to me roughing grabbing my restrained arm and dragging me into a dark, cold room. The room looked like a high tech room with large screens and tables filled with many unknown items.

"Please do get to know everything in this room because you won't be getting out of here anytime soon." The man stared at me like I was a doll, their doll. I could hear the door being shut, then instead of it being a window it turned black, I couldn't see what was on the other side.

I was like a caged animal

There was no escape, I was stuck here forever. I know they won't let me leave anytime soon, they need me for project ZARCON. All I can do for now is wait, I don't know how long, but it's the only way I'll be getting out of here.

FLASHBACK

"You know that they're going to find us" I could barely hear what my parents were saying, but I didn't want them to know I was awake and listening to their conversation.

"I know that okay, we just need to hide for a while hopefully, they might think that we had an 'accident'. Let's just hope they don't come and find us" Appa's voice gotten more crackly and it also seemed that he was scared.

Who was coming after us, are they the reason why eomma and appa are packing up everything in our house and moving far away.

why, how can they make my eomma and appa leave after everything they built here, having everything gone to waste because they didn't want them to find us.

Looking at my tiny little feet that were placed in the freezing cold water, I wasn't bothered at all how cold the water was, it didn't bother. I was calm.

"I hope one day that eomma and appa and I could live peacefully"
