Oh Saturday's, my favorite. So much freedom and it makes you feel invincible, and stress free. However... high school can change that in an instant. I've been studying my butt off and locked myself away from society in my room. Where I've been studying for upcoming tests.
My room was dark and messy, and a small odor considering I haven't moved from my desk at all. Strange how that works.
My textbooks are scattered all over my bed, I have crumpled pieces of papers tossed here and there. Empty cans of water and soda sitting on my desk, and binders that look like they will bust open any second, cramped on my dresser.
I sat on my bed, face buried in my books and tediously working, scribbling notes, examples and fixing papers. You can call me Miss Perfect, or I mean my name, Jeanine although I much prefer Jay, JJ. But when I say I will do something I will do it. And unfortunately I told myself I would study so I could nail these quizzes so, here I am.
I had one leg tucked under me. Pillows against my back and a hot steaming cup of coffee to help me work.
This is not how I want to spend a Saturday. All my friends are going to the mall, visiting family and Im lounging out in my room, away from everyone, studying.
I set my pen down with a heavy tired sigh, rubbed my eyes and stretched my arms. I felt my back loosening up from sitting all the time and it was like I could feel the blood flow back to my brain. With a loud roaring yawn I tiredly glanced down at my notebook and open textbook. I sighed once more, deciding if I should continue working and finish these notes on this chapter or finish tomorrow.
Screw that I've been working my ass off, I'll do it tomorrow.
I shoved my bookmark in my textbook, shut it, and pushed myself away from the desk and rolled across the room on my office chair to my door. I got up, only to get light headed and crumble back down.
I shook my head, whoah, too fast.
I got up again this time holding onto the arm rests and pushing myself off, feeing my crampt legs stretch and pull. I reached for the ceiling in attempt to stretch again but only to hear the multiple painful pops coming from my back.
I groaned, flinging my door open and trudged out of my room only to stop halfway in the hallway. There were other voices, my little brothers friend was over. I inhaled sharply. Whenever Weston has his little buddy over, it can only mean trouble. Those two have been glued together since preschool. I find it incredible they have still stuck together since they're both in 6th grade.
I quietly crept into the kitchen but kept my eyes on the boys who where sprawled on the floor playing video games.
"No! Go this way - ARGH! You got me killed!" Weston whined angrily setting down his controller.
"Nu huh! You got yourself killed, man! I was doing what the quest told me to do." His friend argued.
"Oh yeah?! Did the quest tell you to let me die?!" Weston snapped back.
      "Not my fault." He says.
They resume playing and I grab a snack and was about to go back to my room, but something stopped me. What would I do? I've been hiding out inside all day. I knew I had to do something because I just didn't want to do nothing, did I?
There was a high pitched scratching like claws beating against our wooden door. I glanced over to our front door to see our small little puppy eagerly scratching at the door, as if it were itching. She gave me a pitiful look, with tired watery eyes before presuming to scratch. I sighed with a small smile. I walked over to her, bending down and scooping me up. With every step I took our floor boards creaked and I made my way back to the kitchen with our dog still in my arms.
"Do you wanna go for a walk? Is that it?" I whispered to her like a baby.
I felt her trying to wriggle out of my grasp and push herself on my chest and trying to wiggle out. I'm assuming it's a yes.
I laughed and set our eager puppy down on the floor. I groaned when I looked down at my shirt and saw how much she shredded and realized, she really does need that walk. A reason to be outside.
Poppy, the puppy shook itself like a wet dog and hair exploded from her like she was a nuke. I groaned again, I had just swept earlier.
I looked at our table, papers, bills, and pens scattered all over. I'm guessing mom also had some work to do. I picked through our little cups that we had scattered on the table top, full of random junk like pens, paper clips, staples, keys, loose change etc. I spotted Poppy's leash coiled in on of the cups and I had to dig through thumb tacks to grab it. I pulled it out and winced when I saw a thumb tack sticking in my hand. I pulled it out and annoyingly tossed it back in the cup.
I felt Poppy jump up and stand up on her hind legs and leaning on me to stand up. I giggled and bend down a bit to clip her leash to my collar. She sniffed it a bit, hopped down, and immediately pulled me to the door.
I was a little taken back, usually Poppy would freak out with the leash on but watching her she treated it as if it's been there for years. I watched her as she stared at the door as if she was seeing right through it, like it wasn't there but it was and that was the only thing stopping her. She turned to me and gave me a look as if asking for something. What is going on? Does she not feel good?
I pulled the door open and Poppy bolted ahead, and the grip I had on the leash ran through my fingers giving me a slight rope burn. I gasped slamming the front door behind me and watching Poppy spring full on around the corner.
"Poppy!" I yelled after her and ran after her.
I saw her turn a corner three blocks left of our house and I kept pushing till I felt that aching feeling on my sides and my legs burned with every run. Then I remembered, inhale  when your left foot hits the ground. Pace myself, Poppy couldn't have gotten far now.
I gulped and stopped when I saw Poppy jumping around and loving on a stranger. I groaned and ran up to him. And pulling Poppy off him and trying to hold her down.
"Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry! She ran- and I couldn't hold onto the leash-" I said and felt my face turning red.
The man smiled and I almost drooling all over myself. No wonder Poppy was loving on him, this guy is drop dead gorgeous! Sharp jawline, bright blue eyes, a dream boy!
"Dream boy? I do not understand." He suddenly says and gives a confused glance.
I turned even more red, "Excuse me?"
"You said dream boy." He says with a nod, "What is that?"
My eyes immediately widened. Maybe it was a coincidence that both him and I thought the same thing at the same time. Or maybe I said it under my breath without realizing it. Even so it still took me by surprise. I glanced up any him, then at my dog and stood up.
"It kinda means someone is really good looking. A guy you could only imagine in your dreams." I said shakily.
He nodded stroking his chin and smiled at the dog. Poppy peeked her ears up and wagged her tail. She adored him. She didn't even know who he was but my dog was falling head over heels for him.
"You're world, has such amazing organisms. Their minds are so well constructed." He said and kneeled down next to her. Poppy pushed herself against him and rubbed her face against his. All I could do was watch in amazement. Am I watching a dog whisperer work his magic here and now!?
I giggled nervously, "Oh, I'm guessing you're not from around here."
He glanced up and me and I could feel my breath hitch in my throat.
"No, I suppose I'm not." He says.
"Are you from out of state?" I ask, trying to make conversation because I mean, if you see someone this drop dead gorgeous you would do anything to keep talking from them.
"No, Where I come from is not from your world, or your galaxy." He says calmly.
I stared at him blankly. Then started laughing. Why was I laughing? Maybe because of how stupid he sounds or how serious he seemed. I bent over kneeling against Poppy, laughing.
He cocked his head to the side and gave a puzzled look, "what's so hilarious?"
I took a couple deep breaths and tried to get a grip, "You're kidding right?" I said between laughs.
"No miss Aidyn I'm not." He says.
I stopped laughing, "How did you know my name?"
"Female human, around 17 in age, high intelligence, 'hard worker', big movie fan." He says and continues lists of thins only I should know about.
"You're first kiss was Danny Granger in the 5th grade of primary school." He says.
I grabbed Poppy'a leash and watch his eyes follow me as I got up.
"Stay- stay away from me." I said and pulled Poppy away who was fighting to stay with that... that creep!
"Miss Aidyn please don't leave! I require your assistance! Please! Allow me to explain myself!" He hollers after me as I run back home.
My heart was racing, mind swirling, sick gut feeling. I rushed to our drive way, pulled our door open, flew inside and slammed it behind Poppy. She was panting and went over and collapsed in her bed. My skin felt hot and I could feel cold sweat, and chills up my back. God what a creep! How could he have known that?! I've never ever told anybody else about my first kiss, that I enjoy movies. How could he have possibly known that? I've never seen him in my life, a stalker maybe?
I locked our front door and breathed a sigh of relief. I felt my heart racing, beating as if I had run a marathon. I had cold shivers creeping down my spine and that cold deep dark pit in my gut. A sickening feeling. Fear, and paranoia, mix them together and you go coo coo.
I hurried to my room and shut the door behind me. I breathed a sigh of relief, no way anybody could stalk me-. I glanced up to see our dream boy staring at me in the middle of my room. I froze, tensed up. I wanted to scream but nothing came out. I couldn't breath, it was like a snake coiled around my chest constricting, crushing, and squeezing the living day lights out of me. I watched him, oh god oh god, I can only imagine the worst. For all I know he could throw a bag over my head and stuff me into one of those big door, white vans and take me away somewhere and god knows what he might do.
I watched his eyes, he was staring blank at me, like he could see through my soul.
I took a small step back, hearing the floor boards creek underneath my feet.I bumped into the door and put my hand on the doorknob. I gulped, my heart was beating so fast even he could probably hear it.
No instead he smiled, "I'm not here to hurt you Miss Aidyn. I apologize for before, you must be terrified."
I licked my parched lips, "Yeah I am, and it doesn't help with you, standing in my room."
He odds, "Forgive me but I do need your help."
I gave frowned, first you barge into my house without my permission and now you ask me for help? Hell no! I would be a damn fool to help this nut case!
"I can assure you I am no 'nut case' but you are now in danger. Working together is the only way I can insure you're safety." He says making air quotes.
I frown even more, "Can- can you-."
"Hear what you're thinking, yes. You see miss Aidyn the organisms like me have like what you would call a sixth sense." He says holding up six fingers.
"I'm sorry 'organisms'? Where, where did you come from maybe I can contact a hospital." I muttered and went over to where my phone was laying plugged in to an outlet on my night stand.
"Like I said before, I am not from you're world." He says watching me walk across my room.
"Bullshit. As far as science so far as explained there are no such things as aliens." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"'Aliens?'" He says cocking his head to the side.
I have him a dumb look with an eyebrow raised, "you know, those little green monsters from outer space."
He chuckled and I was startled by his reaction, "Miss Aidyn. I can assure you I'm not one of those little green monsters." He says and turns around showing off his tight muscles and godly complex, "We look just like you're species, there is no real reason to be alarmed."
I blushed, "Did you hit your head? Are you in some Lala land?" I sneered.
"No miss, I'm merely telling the truth." He says in defense.
I pulled the charger out from my phone. And fidgeted with it. I glared at him with a sense of doubt. Maybe he's schizophrenic, like there's something wrong in his head convincing him that he's from space. I licked my lips again and leaned against my wall.
"Prove, it starboy." I said.
"Very well, I'll show you my memory of my childhood so you can get to know me better. All I ask is for silence so I may concentrate." He says in a serious tone and have me an approving nod.
"Fine." I snap.
I watched patiently. He closed his eyes and took a couple deep breaths. I waited for something to happen, a minuet passed maybe and I shook my head, "come one dude let's get you home-"
Suddenly, my room exploded into a world of stars.
