The sun vanished into the horizon which illuminated the valley in vast colors of orange and yellow. The stream that provided the only water in the grass land sparkled with light and the rocks shined like they were polished. There was only one tree in the entire area which grounded in the middle, the large oak shadowed anything that was below its lush green leaves. The bark was peeling away but on it was the Claw of Mending. This symbolized that Iberian and Artic wolf packs must share the valley. But this sign of piece was slowly being forgotten as the snow started to consume the green hills and the stream was crystallizing into ice. Food grew scarce and the wolves grew hungrier as the harsh winter approached. Claws were sharpened and ready to lunge at the target.
