Sequel Time!!

I'm just gonna say, this sequel isn't going to be NEARLY as long as the first one, because

a) I've kinda lost my drive for this book. I have another book in the works that I'm in LOVE with right now.

b) It was meant to be shorter in my head.

Anyway, here's the first chapter!!

Oh, and as a footnote....

OUAT IS BACK ON TV TONIGHT!!!! I CANNOT WAIT, I AM PEEING MY PANTS IN EXCITEMENT!!!!

Okay, sorry, you didn't need to know that last part.....

She lightly kicked her horse's back leg, and her horse tore away into the forest. Angry yells and the footsteps of pursuit rang in her ears. She urged her black horse forward, whispering soft words into his ear and stroking the black mane of the powerful animal.

She tied a piece of rope to the reins. She looped it around her waist twice, and tied a knot at the front. She slid her bow off of her shoulder blade, and pulled an arrow from the quiver behind her. She fired two arrows at once, the feathery shafts embedding themselves in her pursers' chests. She sighed a breath of relief and slid the bow back on her shoulder blade.

She cut the rope binding her to the reins, and hugged the neck of her black horse tightly. She closed her eyes. "Take us anywhere Coaldust." She whispered. The horse whined in response, and veered abruptly to the left. The mysterious girl smiled, and pulled her right sleeve up.

She made sure that the trinket was still on her wrist. She breathed a deep, deep sigh of relief to see it was still there. She had feared that when the guard had grabbed her, he had managed to pull it off her wrist.

She smiled, and turned her gaze to the heavens, where the stars shined brightly, and the second star to the right seemed to wink at her.

"Its like my love for you, Peter. No matter who trys to rip us apart, no matter who tries to get in our way, we will always be together."

She twisted the silver bangle with the white flame patterns on her wrist. "Your Neverland Queen will return, I promise you that."

 --------------------------------------------------------------

A woman awoke, sunlight warming her wounded body. She groaned, and opened her eyes. She was met with the sight of a leafy green canopy, with a robin's egg colored sky behind it. The sun was high in the sky.

It was noon.

She sat up. A huff and a whine sounded behind her. She turned, and smiled when she saw her horse looking at her. She got up, and patted the horse's neck. "Good boy Coaldust, good boy."

"A woman shouldn't be alone in the woods, m'lady." The girl smiled. "Your views are old fashioned." She said, continuing to stroke the neck of her black horse; Coaldust. And indeed, the black, ebony colored horse was indeed the color of coaldust. And about as dirty and dusty from the road as coaldust.

"You have yet to gaze upon me, m'lady. Maybe when you see me, you will not speak so boldly to me." The woman's smile broadened, but she turned to see who the new stranger was.

He was wearing worn, green clothing, with a dark brown cape, and leather hiking boots of similar fashion. His wavy dark brown hair was shoulder length, and his eyes sparkled with a malicious humor, that either put you at ease, or made you freeze in panic.

But the lady did neither. She just smiled at the man, and scanned the perimeter of the small dell. Men with bows loaded were all around the dell, aiming for her. She smiled at the man who had spoken. "You must be their leader." she said. The man nodded.

"We don't take to kindly to rich folk wandering into our dell." He smirked at her. The woman smiled again. "What makes you think I'm rich?" she asked, turning back to her horse.

The woman had been wearing a fine white gown that swept the ground, with silver dangle earrings and a gold chain hanging around her neck. She also had a silver bracelet on her right wrist. The first man smirked. "You're attire m'lady. You are dressed in finery." The woman turned back to him and laughed.

"This is merely a disguise my good sir." She said, grinning. "I am neither rich nor poor, for I possess no gold or silver coins. Yes, it is true, I possess heirlooms and trinkets with me, but I am not rich." the man scoffed. "I think we'll settle for the heirlooms. I'll pick them from your dead body."

Suddenly, he fired an arrow at her.

It seemed, he would hit the mysterious woman right in the chest.

But suddenly, her hand twitched beside her.

She caught the arrow, inches from her chest.

She smirked at the man. "You were foolish to attempt to kill me."

She grabbed the front of her dress, and undid a small button on the neck. She ripped the stitching down the middle, and ripped the dress off.

Underneath, she wore tight fitting brown pants, mid calf black boots, and a mahogany brown colored corset over her loose white blouse and adamant chest guard.

She reached under the the blanket underneath her saddle, and pulled out a pair of twin sheathed swords. She tucked the first sword into her corset, and unsheathed the second one.

She smirked at the man. "Flee Coaldust! Flee!" the horse, without another warning, took off, trampling two of the strange men in his haste. She grinned at the bewildered woodsman.

"Lets play pretty boy."

----------------------------------------------------

The battle didn't last long. The woodsman's gang lay on the ground, either injured or dead, but always immobile. The only one left was the woodsman.

He faced the mysterious dark haired girl. Her dark eyes shined in with triumph. "Its just you, and me, pretty boy." She said, smirking. She cocked her head to the right. "What'll you do now?"

The woodsman growled. He fit an arrow in the notch of the bow, and lined it up, straight at the mysterious female rider's heart.

"Its a pity." The woodsman smirked.

"You're so beautiful."

And he fired.

The arrow spun, and whistled straight for the rider's heart. She didn't move, not an inch. She looked the woodsman dead in the eye, until the last moment.

Her hand shot out from beside her, and caught the arrow, right near the arrowhead.

Her gaze never left the woodsman.

She slid the bow off her shoulder, and fitted the arrow into the notch, and lined it up, striahgt for the woodsman's heart.

"Its a pity." The female rider smirked mischeviously.

"You have a rugged look about you, and you were quite attractive."

The arrow ripped away from her bow, and before the woodsman could move, the arrow had impaled him above the heart. The arrowhead pierced his heart, and he fell to the ground, the light leaving his eyes in a hurry.

The mysterious rider whistled loudly, and moments later, Coaldust returned by her side. She smiled, and pulled the black cloak from beneath the saddle.

She pulled it on, and put the hood over her head. She sat in the saddle, and lightly kicked Coaldust's back leg.

She grinned beneath the black cloak that covered her silver-like eyes.

Had you seen her, you may have even described her eyes like the reflection of the moonlight off of dark ocean water.
